Job Description

• Assist and report to Project Manager at Site.
• Plan, manage and ensure workplace safety and health compliance with MOM regulations at all times.
• Carry out environmental control officer duties, familiar with NEA and MOM regulations.
• Advise on Safety to team members and workers at site for a safe working environment.
• Report to the Project Manager. Responsible for the EHS systems and implementations.
• Study and fully understand the requirements of company ISO, EHS and subcontracts agreements.
• Liaise, handle and keep proper records in dealing with all related authorities in complying with their respective requirements.
• Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with EHS requirements. He is authorized to take necessary actions including issuance of partial stop work order as he and the Project Manager deem fit.
• Handle all accident and incident reports.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction industry
• Registered WSHO with MOM and registered ECO, ECMO with NEA
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS45001, GGBS and CONSAS audit.

Job Purpose

• To assist Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery department (CTVS) surgeons in facilitating the coordination of pre-operative and post-operative workflow of all surgery patients.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development, implementation, and improvement of WSH/EHS programs.

Requirements

• Certified Fire Safety Manager and 3 years of working experience as appointed FSM.
• Good knowledge in emergency preparedness, mitigation and response

Job Purpose

• To assist Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery department (CTVS) surgeons in facilitating the coordination of pre-operative and post-operative workflow of all surgery patients.

Job Responsibilities

• Provision of all pre-operative matters and be the point of contact for patients going for surgery and after clinic consultation.
• Prepare and educate patients on what happens before, during and after surgery.
• Detailed and comprehensive counseling for the type of surgery involved, and consumables and implants used.
• Assist to coordinate the listing of the patient’s surgery based on the joint assessment with the surgeon of the patient’s condition.
• Answer patient queries on the surgery.
• Coordinate pre-admission planning and provide counselling to patients and relatives.

• Facilitate smooth workflow between outpatient clinics, wards and operating theatres to assist patient flow (including polyclinic referral cases).
• Assist vascular division head to ensure that junior doctors rotated through the division are kept updated on requirements and information related to the division. Example: surgical codes and workflow of listings of patients.
• Assume any additional responsibilities as assigned by Vascular Surgeons and Case Manager of the Department of CTVS including but not limited to:
• Take minutes for monthly Vascular Division meeting and ad hoc Vascular meetings.
• Morbidity audits.
• Assist surgeons to keep track of workload numbers.
• Support events/ seminars for CTVS when required.
• Work with aortic database entry staff for proper tracking and collection of peri-operative data.

Requirements

• Min Degree in Nursing
• Min 2 years of nursing experience

• Nursing experience in Operating Theatre/ Intensive Care Unit in an acute or private hospital has an advantage.
