The Beh lab seeks to develop cutting-edge CRISPR-Cas technologies to uncover the biological functions of RNA modifications. Dysregulation of these modifications has been linked to cancer, neurological disorders, and metabolic disease. A Research Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Oliver Mueller-Cajar, School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The project will focus on expanding the carbon fixation machinery of microalgae to enhance photosynthesis and biomass production.

Key Responsibilities:

The Research Fellow will take ownership of agreed upon scientific problems and fully dedicate his or her efforts towards these goals. They will devise and carry out appropriate experiments, analyse and interpret data and ultimately communicate the findings by publication in journals and attendance at scientific conferences.
