The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the entire supply chain process for the Company. This includes material planning for all our projects, including forecasting inventory needs, procurement, inventory management, overseeing logistics and ensuring timely deliveries to our project sites. The Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW) aims to build a global research platform for transdisciplinary endeavours to address major health concerns over a woman's lifespan and across generations. Through its main hub in Singapore, the Centre will engage in multi-disciplinary research to promote women’s health, including a series of diet and lifestyle intervention studies.

Purpose of the role

The project coordinator/manager will play a key role in dietary intervention studies by actively managing and coordinating diet and lifestyle intervention studies in GloW. Responsibilities include performing administrative duties to ensure the studies’ success and compliance. The staff will work closely with Principal Investigators of intervention studies, collaborate closely with the research team, food service team, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as undertake other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Centre’s Director as needed.

Job Description:

This is a full time role for an Assistant Operations Manager located in Geylang Bahru. Our client is one of Singapore's Leading Specialists for Buddhist funeral services and you will be responsible for managing funeral transfers and services, preparing monthly schedules for ground staff, and handling petty cash and vehicle-related matters. They work closely with all departments, oversee the Customer Service Team by assisting with phone duties and managing funeral parlours, and ensure the Operations Team adheres to company policies and processes. Additionally, they assist the Human Resources Team with talent recruitment and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-4 years of management experience
• Comfortable working in the funeral industry
• Possess class 3 driver license
• Able to do shift work, and work on Public Holidays and Overtime
