About China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group Co., Ltd. (CSSD)
CSSD (Shanghai Stock Exchange: 601512) is the joint-venture master developer set up by the governments of Singapore and China in August 1994, for the development of the flagship bilateral cooperation project Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) and is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2019.
CSSD’s portfolio currently includes integrated township developments in China and has expansion plans in ASEAN. As part of a strategic partnership with Singapore's JTC Corporation in 2021, CSSD has established a new wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore (“CSSD International Business Cooperation Centre Pte. Ltd.”) managed by the existing Singapore branch, and currently operates a co-working space in the one-north district.
Reporting to the General Manager of the Singapore Branch, we are looking for candidates to join CSSD Singapore in the following position: Finance Manager / Assistant Finance Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
· Work closely with business units for smooth daily accounting operations
· Prepare monthly closing, financial statements and management reports timely and accurately
· Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
· Ensure all bank reconciliations are being completed accurately and in a timely manner
· Perform proper intercompany transactions and reconciliation
· Assist in year-end audit and tax return preparation
· Prepare and coordinate annual audit and budget planning forecast
· Manage actual and forecast cash flow
· Coordinate financial analysis, consolidating and reviewing of reports
· Maintain fixed assets recording and filing
· Handle Quarterly GST reporting and queries
· Maintenance of Accounting system
· Work with relevant department managers on their BU’s performance
· Assist in ad-hoc admin and finance assignment when required
· Cultivate a continuous improvement mentality in the team
Requirements / Key Attributes
· Singaporean, Degree holder with:
· Minimum 8 years of working experience, of which at least 6 years of experience is in accounting and/or financial analysis
· Degree in finance, accountancy, or economics
· Or possess ACCA or Chartered Account qualifications
· Be familiar with accounting policies, tax rules and annual audit process in Singapore
· Preferably with experience in China-corporate accounting principles
· Able to work well independently and as part of a team who is willing to learn and take on additional roles in a dynamic shared service environment with multiple business units
· Strong inter-personal and communication skills with good problem-solving skills
· Meticulous, committed, self-motivated and adaptable
· Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and good organizational and time management skills
· Preference will be made for candidates that have Corporate Secretary qualifications
· Fluency in mandarin (both spoken and written) is essential, due to the nature of work which involves significant amount of communication with various stakeholders based in China
