Responsibilities:
· Drive growth in the maritime satellite airtime market by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships across South East Asia.
· Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, focusing on solution-based sales in the maritime sector.
· Engage with customers to understand their specific needs, and deliver tailored satellite airtime and communication solutions for maritime clients.
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty through ongoing support and service excellence.
· Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences, adjusting sales tactics accordingly.
· Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reporting to senior management, tracking progress against targets and adjusting strategies where necessary.
· Lead presentations and negotiations with potential and existing clients, ensuring successful contract closures and favorable terms for the company.
· Work closely with the marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure seamless product delivery, customer support, and service optimization.
· Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and maritime conferences to promote products and expand the company’s network within the region.
· Provide guidance and support to junior sales staff, sharing best practices and driving a high-performance sales culture within the regional team.
Requirements:
· Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field
· At least 5-7 years of experience in solution-based sales within the maritime satellite airtime, communications, or technology industries.
· Demonstrated success in driving sales and meeting targets, with a focus on solution-oriented sales in a B2B environment.
· Strong understanding of the South East Asia maritime industry, including key players, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
· Strong ability to engage with C-level executives and technical stakeholders, delivering compelling sales pitches and closing deals.
· Must be comfortable with extensive travel across the region, attending client meetings, industry events, and maintaining a strong market presence.
