The Business Product Specialist participates in the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for new or existing products. The role encompasses a broad set of activities required to get the product (or set of products) to market and to support it thereafter. The Business Product Specialist participates in business case development and business analysis to identify how value is created, specific price points and analysis of market sizing / potential. The Business Product Specialist assists in gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements to define the product vision. Your key responsibilities:

Your skills and experience:

SCOPE OVERVIEW

• Provide inputs of strategizing sales and marketing activities to increase sales
• Ensure the IFA marketing spend is within budgets
• Collaborate with training team to conduct regular product and refresher training for the partner
• Undertake event management activities and promotions to engage Management, Sales Directors and advisors.
• Working closely with Internal stakeholders: Product, Compliance, Life Operations Dept. to ensure manual cases submissions and inceptions are within SLA timeline
• Keep abreast of market updates, trends and competitor offerings for the IFA space
• Ensure all incentives campaigns are fulfilled
• Ensure advisors enquiries are promptly answered by BDMs for a good partnership experience

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or diploma in any discipline
• CMFAS (Module 5, 9, 9A, HI) preferred.
• Self-motivated, independent and results oriented
• Understand IFA business in the marketplace
• Knowledge in sales and marketing
• Good interpersonal and networking skills
• Personable, active listener and team player

Our opportunity:

Restaurant Brands International (RBI) is seeking a Manager of Corporate Development to join our APAC team, supporting the expansion of Burger King, Popeyes, Tim Hortons, and Firehouse Subs. This role will be crucial in executing growth strategies by identifying and engaging new partners and structuring multi-year development agreements. This role will have significant exposure to senior leadership, reporting to Senior Director, Corporate Development, APAC and offers exposure to deal origination, investor relations, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth across RBI’s brands.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the sourcing and engagement of new investors and franchise operators
• Building investment cases and business plans for new market entries.
• Conduct financial modeling, market research, and due diligence to inform partner selections and market entries.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to implement business development strategies across APAC.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of presentations to potential franchisees and internal executives
• Support negotiations for development agreements, coordinating closely with legal, tax, and other internal teams

Your skills & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
• 3 - 6 years of experience, with a background in investment banking, M&A, or corporate development preferred
• Strong financial modeling skills, with expertise in Excel and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and potential partners.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing projects and deadlines.
• Fluent in English; additional APAC language skills are a plus.
