Job Description

1) To direct and monitor construction related sctivities, including the work of architects, contractors and consultants

2) To review architectural and engineering drawings

3) To monitor projects to ensure compliance with building regulations, policies and procedures, including inspection of completed projects for accuracy, competeness and standards and specifications.

4) To manage all projects matters

5) To ensure that all projects are delivered on time

6) To create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

7) To perform other related duties as asigned.

Requirements

1) Diploma in building/ Certificate in Civil & Structural Engineering

2) PC Literate and knowledge in MS office

3) Min. 2 years experience in Building Construction Industry

• Provide supervision and inspection to ensure that the Contractor(s) comply with Authority's and agencies' requirements
• Supervise all works, permanent & temporary, including Civil and architectural works, sewerage, drainage, irrigation, commuter facilities, road works, trial trenches and utilities diversion
• Coordinate with contractor(s) and relevant agencies/site partners for the work
• Supervise fabrication of precast concrete and steel structural elements both on site & off site
• Supervise lifting operations to erect precast concrete elements
• Inspect and assist in issuance of E-Token for soil disposal
• Review & supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• Supervise installation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Verify & check quantity of work done for progress payment
• Provide other services required
• Assist in operating of Project Monitoring Control Centre ( PMCC )

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Civil/Structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS)
• Site/work safety certifications would be an advantage
• Contractor site work experience would be an advantage
• Min 3 years of experience in road works / LTA projects / viaduct / flyover

Candidates with many safety certifications and many years of experience without a diploma would be considered

Job Responsibilities:

• Arrange daily site construction works, including works related to site inspection and site coordination
• Timely report to construction manager / project manager
• Coordinate with other department including safety, QAQC, admin, to ensure site construction works will be carried out smoothly
• Managing site works by subcontractor
• Plan site resource and coordinate among team members when necessary
• Follow manager’s and engineer’s planning closely, and feedback any issue faced timely
• Record works accordingly as per manager’s and engineer’s instruction
• Carry out due diligence to ensure site work is well organized before inspection
• Willing to work overtime and on shift when necessary

Job Requirements:

• Diploma qualification level
• At least 10 years working experience
• Prefarably with working experience in construction industry
