JOB DESCRIPTION:
Marketing and sales of Sipchem products.
• Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Co-ordinates and customises sales activities that cater to regional needs.
• Manage the sales and marketing of the assigned products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Staying abreast of changes in the regional trading environment, proposing strategic marketing plans to best serve the sales objectives of Sipchem Marketing Company (the “SMC”).
• Identify potential partners and opportunities to cooperate and improve the current operations.
• Acquire product knowledge in terms of (specs/packing/shipments/selling terms and conditions/competition/customers).
• Prepare the sales and lifting plan based on the allocation for management review and confirmation.
• Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalising on SMC’s relative positioning.
• Keep current on competitors’ activities and distribute pertinent information to SMC’s Sales and Marketing teams.
• Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, initiating corrective actions, and minimising costs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, submitting the findings and analysis to senior management.
• Serve as point of contact with distributors and end-users in the Asia Pacific region.
• Tasked with the delivery of marketing solutions and coordinator of sales activities while applying company’s internal processes in an efficient and consistent manner.
• Supporting and assisting the logistics and finance teams where appropriate.
• Following and tracking the day-to-day operations of the regional sales team.
• Prepare a monthly performance report of the company showing a variance analysis between target and actual realisation.
