About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and client-focused Senior FX & Derivatives Sales Professional to drive our FX and Derivatives business in Singapore and across neighboring markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales expert with deep experience in capital market products, including FX, derivatives, and structured solutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience and a strong network within the financial markets, particularly among Accredited Investors (AI), Expert Investors (EI), and Institutional Investors (II).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the dealing and advising on capital market products, including OTC derivative contracts, structured products, and FX spot transactions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify revenue opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and provide high-quality services.
- Manage customer credit ratings and limits, working closely with risk management teams to optimize exposure.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to market FX and derivatives products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Spearhead the development of innovative product solutions and new marketing initiatives to meet client needs and capture market opportunities.
- Provide clients with insightful market commentaries, trading ideas, and product updates to build trust and drive deal flow.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers, traders, and compliance teams, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Conduct product due diligence to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Actively monitor market trends, client demands, and regulatory changes to identify business opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Lead client presentations, including preparation of materials, proposals, and reports, to support deal execution and relationship management.
- Mentor and develop junior sales personnel, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are an advantage.
- 10+ years of experience in FX, Derivatives sales, or structured products within capital markets.
- Proven track record in client relationship management and revenue generation across institutional or corporate client segments.
- Strong understanding of FX, derivatives, and fixed income products, including regulatory requirements and risk management principles.
- Ability to develop bespoke solutions for sophisticated investors, including arbitrage opportunities and complex structured trades.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with institutional clients.
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset with a focus on delivering client-centric solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across regions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Accredited Investors, Expert Investors, and Institutional Investors.
- Familiarity with advanced financial modeling, risk management tools, and data analytics.
- Track record of collaborating with trading, operations, and technology teams to deliver client solutions.
