The Asia Head of Rates and Currencies Investor Sales is responsible for driving the sales of macro cross-asset products to institutional investor clients. Main activities consist of building and marketing of flow and non-flow macro products to Institutional Investors in the Asia Ex-Japan region, with a key focus on real money and hedge fund clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Sales Management responsibilities over designated team members to lead and drive to meet sales targets, supervise a sales team, manage day-to-day operations, and own product development responsibilities
• Build and manage key coverage relationships with large institutional names
• Grow Institutional macro business (focus on FX / Rates) with all key client segments including Central banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Insurance Companies, Banks, Asset Managers, Hedge funds and Private Wealth Clients.
• Work closely with market making traders to market macro products and perform client servicing duties
• Service and grow flow market share of electronic trading platforms in FX and rates including but not limited to FXConnect, FXGo, FXT, BidFX, Portware
• Work with structurers and relationship managers to design trade ideas and solutions for institutional clients.
• Develop and disseminate thought leadership ideas including trade ideas based on market movements by working closely with traders, economists, and strategists

Job Requirements

• More than 12 years of sales experience in flow and structured interest rates and FX products
• Strong senior and working relationships in Asia with institutional clients including central banks, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers and especially hedge funds which is backed by proven consistent execution track record and positive feedback
• Independent and motivated to deliver results while working in a collaborative environment. Good project management and coordination skills would be a pre-requisite
• Leadership skills to inspire and groom a team to extract best performance
• Solid market connection and intelligence to be plugged in to latest market trends, information, industry knowledge, product knowledge
