RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is for Office of Admissions and Financial Assistance.
• Content Creation & Communications
  
  • Lead the creation and editing of high-quality undergraduate marketing materials, including web content, collaterals, social media posts and email campaigns, to position SMU as a University of Choice.
  • Collaborate with the Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing (OCCM) on digital marketing campaigns to increase mindshare amongst the Pre-University target audience.
  • Collaborate with marketing agencies and external vendors on key marketing projects, including managing agency briefings and pitches, as well as agency liaison.
• Local Outreach
  • Manage undergraduate recruitment efforts through local outreach for parents, educators and prospective students, such as signature events, learning journeys, campus visits, and so on.
• International Outreach
  • Manage undergraduate recruitment through international outreach efforts, to engage with prospective students and educators at international high schools across the region, both through in-person travel as well as virtual events.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with internal departments, external partners, and prospective students, ensuring consistent and effective communication across all channels
  • Contribute to corporate reporting, ensuring timely and accurate communication of key updates to internal and external stakeholders.

• Degree with at least 10 years of experience in marketing and communications.
• Proven track record in writing, content creation, and communications, particularly in a marketing or outreach context; experience in higher education marketing is a plus.
• Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
• Strong interest in social media marketing and digital marketing, with an understanding of both English-language and Chinese-language social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, XiaoHongShu, WeChat, etc).
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working collaboratively in teams and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to respond to different types of personalities.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Job Description

• Supervise, evaluate and implement the company’s policies for all E&P activities in homes/centre and ensure all activities are in accordance with the organisation’s needs and requirements.
• Formulate, organise, coordinate, monitor, and recommend projects, activities, advise and keep the Management and higher Management on the recommendation for activities.
• Plan, manage, review and recommend suitable strategies and objectives for education and programmes.
• Assess the educational curriculum and the format in which it is being delivered for all centres and review the accompanying tools and resources.
• Supervise staff and identify opportunities for team training and skills advancement.
• Provide leadership and support to Home representatives to enhance current and new educational and programme activities.
• Establish and develop working relationships with stakeholder, schools, corporate bodies, government agencies, voluntary organizations and existing partners.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to execute activities, manage communications and manage stakeholders’ feedback.
• Ensure that all records, documentations, correspondences and updates are properly maintained and are kept up to date.

2. Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in program management.
• Proven management and leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams.
• Strong critical thinking abilities and expertise in problem-solving.
• Excellent creative and analytical thinking skills.

Assistant Tax Manager (European MNC)

Our client is a leading International shipping brand and are expanding their team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance and Reporting

• Manage the preparation and review of corporate income tax returns for international jurisdictions. Ensure compliance with global tax reporting requirements, including CbC (Country-by-Country) reporting and FATCA.
• Assist in the preparation of tax provisions for financial statements, including IFRS compliance.

Transfer Pricing

• Support the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies and documentation.
• Conduct benchmarking studies and ensure compliance with local transfer pricing regulations.
• Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure intercompany pricing aligns with global standards.

Tax Planning and Research

• Assist in developing international tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and support global operations. Research international tax law changes and provide recommendations for compliance and planning.
