Key responsibilities
•Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in alignment with SEA and Oceania market strategies.
•Focus on strategic segment sales as defined by the company to achieve business objectives E.g. Energy, Battery, Automotive (EV), Components, Data center, Education, etc
•Travel within Singapore, Malaysia, and Oceania to expand business opportunities and provide support for various events.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers to drive revenue growth and business expansion.
•Leverage LinkedIn, referrals, and professional networks to develop new accounts and foster long-term partnerships.
•Conduct presentation, product demonstrations, respond to product-related inquiries, and negotiate sales deals effectively.
•Work independently to meet deadlines, achieve sales targets, and ensure successful execution of customer projects.
•Research and analyse market trends to identify new opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
•Participate in regular sales training and workshops to stay updated with industry trends, improve sales skills, and refine techniques.
•Prepare detailed sales reports outlining achievements, progress toward targets, and challenges encountered.
•Collaborate closely with marketing, product marketing, and customer service teams to align strategies and achieve business goals.
Qualifications
•Minimum 3 years sales experiences in Electronic, Electrical industries, General Industries.
•Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields for Sales Engineer Position.
•Strong negotiating, Critical thinking, Strategic thinking, Analytical skills
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, other languages would be advantageous
•Team player with strong interpersonal skills
