The Successful Applicant

• About 5 years' experience in Business Development role in e-learning, classroom, training solutions (B2B)
• A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Good hunting abilities
• Able to handle end-to-end sales cycle efficiently & effectively
• Exposure selling to the financial markets or the sustainable finance sector is a plus
• Good communication to sell and present to senior stakeholders across the region

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily rate enquiries from local customers and overseas agents.
• Timely response for all enquiries with multiple solutions and accuracy.
• Negotiate with carriers and co-loaders for best freight rates to ensure the profit margins and targets are met.
• Handle RFQs.
• Communicate and coordinate with operations team for efficient execution of shipments.
• Understand and analyse market trends, assist with providing pricing strategies for clients.
• Develop key account business through regular communication, efficient pricing and follow-ups.
• Report generation.
• Other ad-hoc duties may be assigned.

Style Consultant Responsibilities

• Advise homeowners and corporate customers on home decor and carpet choices
• Partner with interior designers and architects to deliver the carpet and decor component of their renovation projects, tenders and other projects
• Create proposals, quotation and documentation supporting the client
• Present products to clients' offices
• Develop and implement ideas for new designs, new services to enhance the client experience
• Maintain visual merchandising of retail store
• Update sales trackers and reports
