Under the revised Employment Agencies Licence Condition 5(b), employment agencies (EAs) are required to collect the personal data (e.g. NRIC, FIN) of applicants referred to employers for permanent or contract job positions of at least 6 months with a fixed monthly salary of $3,300 and above. PDPA requirements on collection, use and disclosure of personal data are not applicable to EAs that are collecting such information, as it is a regulatory requirement.

What a typical work day looks like

• Attend to online, telephone and in-person enquiries
• Make suitable product recommendations to customers
• Prepare quotations and sales proposals
• Coordinate with designers to prepare artwork for customers’ approval
• Coordinate production and delivery schedules
• Follow up with customers and provide after-sales support
• Manage e-commerce platforms enquires & orders (eg. Shopee, Carousell)
• Work with designers to develop marketing materials
• Indoor role. Not required to travel to customers’ premises

Must-have:

• Enjoy talking to people
• Good communication & inter-personal skills
• Fluent in spoken & written English
• “O” levels or equivalent
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Meticulous, independent, efficient and pro-active
• Team player with the ability to work independently

Good-to-Have:

• 1-2 years sales or marketing experience
• Knowledge of social media marketing & managing online marketplaces (eg. Shopee / Lazada)
• Experience with graphic software (eg. Photoshop / Illustrator)

Working Hours:

• 5-day week (Monday – Friday)
• 8:00am – 5:30pm
• Work-life balance. No overtime required.
• Ad-hoc reply to messages on social media / ecommerce accounts outside regular hours.
