Our esteemed client in FMCG industry is currently looking for an IT Project Manager – SAP IBP

Responsibilities:

• IT Lead for the end-to-end implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning for Supply Planning (IBP-SP) module.
• Utilize prior experience to ensure successful implementation across diverse markets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align project objectives with organizational goals.
• Provide functional and technical expertise in SAP IBP-SP, guiding the team through configuration, customization, and integration processes.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to the established schedule.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, addressing issues, risks, and providing updates to stakeholders.
• Foster effective communication between business users and technical teams to facilitate a smooth implementation process.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful resolution to maintain project momentum.
• Act as a liaison between external vendors, consultants, and internal teams to guarantee seamless collaboration.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in managing end-to-end SAP IBP-SP implementations across multiple markets.
• In-depth knowledge of both functional and technical aspects of SAP Integrated Business Planning for Supply Planning.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration between diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze business processes and provide solutions that align with organizational objectives.
• Experience in creating and maintaining project plans, managing timelines, and meeting deliverables.
• Familiarity with SAP integration methodologies and best practices.

This role is to plan and manage existing Core VAS and Messaging Platforms.

Make an Impact by:

• Planning and project management of new and existing value-added services. This includes the planning and implementation of new technology, capacity, service rollout and service performance improvement, etc.
• Work closely with stakeholders in Product Development, Marketing and Engineering to establish the requirements to support new services and lead in discussions on new emerging technologies.
• Perform technical and financial feasibility studies on potential new value-added systems and solutions.
• Responsible to lead in tender preparation, technical & commercial evaluation, negotiations and procurement value-added systems and solutions.
• Plan the near- and long-term network architecture and capacity needs
• Engage regional counterparts to identify and realise cost and operational synergies
• Manage vendor(s) during the project implementation
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors

Skills for Success:

• Degree in Engineering majoring in Computer Science, IP networking or telecommunications/mobile communication.
• Working experience in computer networking or the telecommunications industry, especially in the role of project coordinator/project manager. Preference will be given to candidates with project management certifications such as CAPM, PMP, CITPM.
• Passionate towards new mobile technologies and systems.
• Knowledge of 3G and 4G telecommunications technologies and computer networking, including knowledge of hardware, protocols and internet standards. Knowledge of value-added services such as mobile charging solutions for postpaid and prepaid services, mobile applications is an advantage.
• Basic technical knowledge of computer networking, including knowledge of hardware, protocols, and internet standards.
• Ability to communicate and conduct presentation effectively in both verbal and written English.
• Basic understanding of legal contracts, procurement and financial capabilities in managing capital and operational expenditures.
• Good interpersonal skills, leadership qualities and strong teamwork are essential.

Job Scope:

• Responsible for finance function of Business Units in charge of Product Costing and Marketing & Licensing activities
• Responsible for costing/ pricing calculation and system setup/ maintenance
• Responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities
• Responsible for analyzing and presenting monthly financial performance with senior management team
• Responsible for annual budget preparation for Business Units
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements/ regulations, including but not limited to statutory accounts, tax and other business filings
• Responsible for all liaising work with internal/external auditors, banks, tax agents and other statutory bodies
• Responsible for all maintenance and update of SOP for the Product Costing and Marketing & Licensing activities
• Responsible for review and continuous improvements works related to processes in Business Units
• Undertake any ad-hoc projects or activities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Min. Degree in any relevant finance/ accounting field
• Min. 3-4 years relevant experience in a managerial role preferably in manufacturing accounting
