As a member of the Corporate Tax team located in Singapore, the International Tax Manager will primarily be responsible for managing tax planning, compliance and controversy in the region. This will involve driving tax initiatives and technology, reviewing tax processes, helping with tax audits in the region and supporting the business teams in tax matters. This role will collaborate and work closely with the indirect tax team, accounting and other finance and business functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight and co-ordination of tax compliance activities outsourced to external service providers in the Asia Pacific region, including the review of tax returns and tax forecast calculations, as well as technical analysis in support of statutory audit
• Ensure transfer pricing obligations (e.g. documentation) are fulfilled under local transfer pricings laws and regulations
• Provide tax advisory and project management support on ad hoc tax projects as assigned. This can include tax treaty applications and responding to internal and external tax queries

• Oversee and manage IT security, audits, and compliance, ensuring the implementation of robust security measures, adherence to regulatory requirements, and the effective management of risks, data protection, and business continuity planning. Recommend and implement innovative tools and solutions to improve the organisation's cybersecurity posture.
• Security Implementation: Implement and review IT security systems, tools, system patches, upgrades and solutions to safeguard application, system and infrastructure.
• System and Audit Compliance: Ensure continuous improvement and compliance of on-premises and cloud-based systems with applicable security and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PDPA).
