Job Description
Technical Support in Sales:
- Assist the sales team by providing technical knowledge during customer meetings and calls.
Respond to client queries, offering clear explanations of the products and their applications.
- Understand customer requirements and collaborate with the technical team to propose suitable fibre optic solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase product features, benefits, and applications.
Documentation & Proposal Creation:
- Help prepare technical documentation, proposals, and presentations for client submissions.
- Assist in creating detailed product information sheets and application guides to support sales efforts.
Market & Product Knowledge Development:
- Stay updated on the latest fibre optic technologies, products, and industry trends
- Gain product-specific knowledge through training, technical resources, and shadowing experienced team members
Client Relationship Support:
- Build positive relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Participate in meetings with clients to gather feedback and support product customization if necessary.
The Successful Applicant
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Candidates without experience are welcome to apply
- Strong interest in technical sales, with a focus on fibre optic products and network solutions
- Good in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Results-driven with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities
