Roles & Responsibilities

• Grow the SmartNews ads business sales by driving the acquisition of cross-border advertisers and agencies.
• Develop and own the business growth strategies and its execution
• Build the team of Cross Border Business group, and manage and develop the team.
• Develop systems and operations in cooperation with relevant departments to ensure smooth transactions with overseas clients
• Collaborating with Ad Products and other key departments to enhance our products via customer feedback-sharing and other customer-related activities

Required Experience

• 5 years or more of sales experience in the digital ads related industry.
• Proven track record of delivering result
• Experience of 3 years or more in cross-border transactions and working experience of serving for clients in asia countries.
• 5 years or more of experience in managing large sales teams (10 or more members; multiple teams simultaneously)
• Experience of hiring and building a team at overseas office
• Business-level English, Japanese, and Chinese
• Ability to make frequent business trips for on-site project management, and ability to carry out new customer acquisition and manage relationships with both new and existing customers

Responsibilities

• Oversee and plan project demands
• Collaborate closely with programme team and vendors to oversee and support the following aspects of the study:
• Recruitment process (i.e., selection, scheduling, enrollment and onboarding of new participants)
• Daily study administrative processes
• Engagement of participants and supporting the Cohort Management team in dealing with participants complaints and queries.

Job Description:

• Support the full spectrum of Human Resource (HR) functions which includes recruitment, learning and development, appraisal, payroll, CPF and employee relations.
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
• Nurture a positive working environment
• Oversee and manage performance appraisal systems that drives high performance
• Responsible for developing Learning and Development (L&D) programs and conducting Training Needs Analysis to improve existing staff performance
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics. Be part of the team in implementing and developing good HR practices, policies and desired work culture and ensure that they are aligned with Company's objectives
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
• Manage the CEO/COO schedules to co-ordinate meetings/appointments and to ensure smooth running of such meetings
• Provide a full spectrum of administrative and secretarial support to the CEO/COO

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevance experience
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• Practical knowledge of the Employment Act and other manpower-related legislations, current and emerging HR trends and practices
• Proficient in MS Office. Familiar with commonly used communication platforms and software.
• Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits
• Extensive knowledge of HR platforms.
