Purpose: To provide technical support on presales/post sales enquiry for Server related products.

Position Based In: Singapore

The Responsibilities:

• To co-work with Account Managers and Product Managers to attend presales, post sales enquiry.
• To solve technical problems reported from the field
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations (IT Infrastructure) explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
• Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements
• Provide technical support to sales account managers throughout the sales cycle
• Gathering information of new products and attend technical training by HQ
• Reporting of technical information to HQ for product and software support improvements
• Perform evaluation, benchmarking and optimization of IT equipment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Retail Sales Development:

Build the sell-out objectives by brand and by category for the area and per door.

Identify and build the yearly sell-out strategy to gain in market share.

Propose and recommend proactively corrective sell-out actions to improve the business and seize potential opportunities.

Be on the floor to drive sales along with Retail Supervisor (in Singapore) and be pro-active in sharing feedback to RM/AM and action plan to boost sales

Build a close relationship with the Perfumes & Cosmetics airport/terminal/store retail management.

Provide monthly sell out reports & analyze POS Performance (Sell Out, market share, share of space, pricing…)

Conduct field analysis: gather and communicate information about our sell out as well as competition activities and make recommendation to the Team

• Management of Sales Force:

Manage >10 BC or advanced BC or specialist with individual and collective meeting, adapting expectation and being fair and motivating in the way they are managed

Recruit, follow, develop, and evaluate BC (& promoters), monitoring their motivation, skills, and performance (quantitative and qualitative)

Create a team spirit getting the right person at the right place at the right moment

Organize their planning and zoning in order to maximize the sell out and profitability

Communicate monthly sales target to BCs and follow-up on their achievement.

Work, implement and follow-up on an incentive plan aligned with the sell-out objectives.

• Brand Image, Marketing & Merchandising:

Visit the POS on a regular basis to monitor stock levels, merchandising displays, product mix and take corrective measures when necessary.

Implement the Merchandising and Marketing strategy: be fully responsible for Merchandising execution, implement the planograms per door according to the agreed assortments, ensure the marketing guidelines are applied.

Ensure all POSM, testers and GWP are ordered on time and in a controlled way with the support of Commercial Executive and Retail Supervisor

Liaise with the contractors on the promotion set up and order transparencies for the POS and promotion sites.

Install new counters ensuring qualitative execution and follow up.

• Animations Management:

Coordinate the animations implementation to achieve the objectives: prepare the brief based on competition activities and field experience, coordinate with the visual merchandising the set-up installation, set the sell-out target with the Senior Retail Manager/ Area Manager and build effective 360 activation plan to achieve the target in respect with the given budget, in charge of animations report.

Recommend extra opportunities to have extra space, visuals, promotion events etc.

• Training:

Collaborate with Regional Train to train BCs on new product, sales techniques, product knowledge, and coach them on performance skills.
Ensure grooming standards, sales techniques, product knowledge are well respected.

Conduct store visits to ensure training & coaching are optimal and identify future training needs.

Assess Beauty Consultants performance on a yearly basis.

The Events Coordinator/Conference Services Coordinator plans and arranges the details of events. These include logistics planning to complex decorations for events, which range from meetings to dinners. He/She in charge of booking facilities for upcoming events, and meeting clients to discuss the event’s purpose. He/She must follow the client’s vision and details for the event.

He/She needs to provide administrative support for the department. He/She must conduct on-site coordination, and site inspection done during, before and after the events. He/She needs to create the Banquet Event Order in a timely manner. He/She must also use suggestive selling to boost profits.

He/She needs to work in a fast-paced setting. He/She maintains precise and overall awareness of the property. He/She also arranges functions correctly and efficiently. He/She needs to serve as a point of contact for clients. In addition, he/she must also converse with them via phone or email to respond to queries and requests.

• Align, execute and embed global Services strategy and framework in local Operating Companies
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, including priority sectors and emerging markets
• Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve company targets for growth and profitability through Services offerings, driving effective product pull-through
• Act as APAC divisional black-dot owner for Digital Services to ensure continuous strong implementation of digital strategy across the division
• Lead regional digital hubs and work closely with Operating Companies service delivery teams to ensure the company’s services meet the needs of customers and are delivered to the highest standard
• Lead capability development in Operating Companies through both commercial and technical training and coaching under Services framework
• As a resource to local sales leadership, help develop comprehensive local sales strategies, target segments, target geographies and target customers to timely commercialise new Services offerings
• Actively contribute to new ideation and provide feedback to internal teams including Steam Business Development to identify opportunities for new services or enhancements to existing services based on customers and market needs

Qualifications / Experience
