Finance/Accounts

· Lead a small team and be responsible for overseeing statutory and management reporting, taxation, budgeting and forecasting, treasury, fixed assets, inventories, accounts payables, accounts receivables.

· Ensure statutory & management reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with financial reporting standards and taxation laws.

· Prepare consolidated management reports and financial statements.

· Assist in year-end statutory audit – preparation of annual reports and documents required for audit purposes

· Assist in the preparation of slides and analysis for the update to senior management

· Responsible for taxation matters including filing withholding tax, filing GST, reviewing corporate income tax prepared by tax agent, and handling tax queries from IRAS

· Responsible for treasury matters including operational cash flow management

· Responsible for compliance with internal control policies and procedures and to formulate robust financial controls framework through regular review, updating and maintenance of financial policies and procedures

· Any other duties, such as but not limited to any projects, new system implementations, etc, as and when assigned by management.

Job Requirements

1. A good, recognized degree in accountancy or ACCA or ISCA/CA qualification
2. At least 7 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years of experience in leading a team
3. Audit experience will be an advantage
4. Experience in the healthcare industry would be an advantage.
5. In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
7. Able to multi-task and work under tight timelines
8. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
9. Strong team player; good communication and relationship skills with ability to build relationships across business units and across other divisions
10. Able to provide guidance and motivate team members to work together to meet deadlines and key deliverables.

We are seeking an experienced system implementation coordinator to join our Finance team. This role will play a crucial part in the current implementation of Oracle Netsuite as part of our ERP, integrating with our other current IT platforms. You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage the system implementation and improvement processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) System implementation

• Good understanding of operational workflow and accounting requirements. Work with system consultants to set up ERP system including sales, purchases, accounting, inventory / costing, CRM and related modules in accordance to business requirements
• Ensure proper integration between systems to ERP
• Ensure proper control over master data, standardization of processes
• Manage and facilitate solutions to resolve user and system issues
• Identify user cases for UAT, execution of UAT to ensure proper roll out of system
• Coordinate discussions and follow up on issues
• Include setting up of invoicing, credit notes, exception reports and other management reports/ customized reports (routine and adhoc)

2) Netsuite Administrator

• Day to day resolution of end user issues
• Ensure proper roles, responsibilities and segregation of duties within ERP
• License issuance and renewal management

3) System maintenance and improvements

• Implement and improve on management reports to monitor performance and KPIs, including costing reports, sales analysis, profitability by products and utilisation rate/productivity of equipments
• Identify system improvement areas, integration issues, automation potentials, to reduce manual work and errors
• Facilitate management budgeting and forecasting process
• Ensure proper SOP, compliance and documentation
• Keep up to date with new system functions and developments

4) Others

• Support new business initiatives including new marketing programs, regional roll out of HQ systems and setting up of related companies
• Responsible for moving existing entity from old accounting system to ERP
• Documentation on SOP and processes
• Provide guidance and training to relevant departments

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Previous hands-on involvement in ERP system implementation
• Excellent ERP user and administration skills
• Familiar with accounting processes and reporting requirements, able to integrate with operational workflows
• Able to work with large datasets and skilled in using data management tools including Power tools (Power Pivot, Power BI), Access
• Excellent spreadsheet, analytical skills and possess good problem-solving capability
• Degree in IT, Accounting or Business Studies with major in Finance or Data Science
• Strong project coordination, time management, and communication skills
• Meticulous and a good team player who can also work well independently

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily/Weekly/Quarterly

• Prepare PB Financial Performance (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly)

Monthly

• Bi-Monthly forecast of PB Financial Performance for submission to Management/ FICON in accordance to stipulated timeline.
• Streamline the PB reporting process in order to prepare the required reports efficiently and accurately
• Preparation of CPM File – Loans, Deposits and Fees to support the bi-weekly forecast of Net Interest Income
• To work closely with relevant stakeholders, and partnering PB business units by providing value-added inputs and advices.
• Preparation of Income by BU including the reconciliation from Local Book to Performance Book. Understand the various drivers resulting in the differences between Local Book to Performance Book.
• Assist to provide variances analysis on the Financial Performance of PB/CB
• Assist to prepare and track the Business Units performance versus the Budget/Plan, and advise accordingly on each unit performance to the Chief Executive Officer of the Branch.
• Assist in monitoring of actual OPEX against plan, and communicate to the respective HOD on the OPEX usage on a monthly basis.
• Main contact person for PB businesses in providing valuable inputs to stakeholders queries.

Quarterly

• Prepare the power-point slides to support the FICON presentation during the quarterly PB meeting.

Annually

• To assist in the Yearly Budget and 5-year forecast for PB, and assist in the preparing of bank-wide budgets for the OPEX and CAPEX
• To assist in preparing the disclosures section of the Annual Financial Statements
• To assist in PB replacement system project, without any hiccups or show-stopper
• To assist in any other ad-hoc projects driven by Finance & Accounting Team
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the superior from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong Financial accounting knowledge skills
• Knowledge and understanding of the SAP and FCC system
• Knowledge and understanding of Banking Products and their accounting treatments
• Knowledge and understanding of Regulatory, International Financial Reporting Standards, and internal management reporting requirements
• PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Powerpoint
