Sales Operations Analyst, Order Management at Palo Alto Networks resides within the Sales Operations department ensuring the accurate and timely processing of a high volume of purchase orders. You will work out of our JAPAC office and will report to a Sales Operation Manager - Order Management of our EMEA Headquarters. 

The role demands incredible attention to detail, the ability to work as part of a team and on one’s own, a desire to learn systems and processes very quickly and the skills to adapt to ever-changing business requirements. 

This position requires team members to be available to work extended hours at the end of each month and the fiscal quarter. 

Your Impact 

• Manage daily sales orders and placement into CRM-Sales Force System with precise accuracy and cross-checking ERP-SAP system 
• Sales Operations Analyst, Order Management (International) receives and processes all types of purchase orders from Palo Alto Networks’ distributors and direct resellers in each of the two assigned regions (EMEA and JAPAC)
• Handle escalation of activities and ensure accuracy on approved quotes 
• Review all required documentation are transferred to the back office 
• Adhere to contract and licensing terms and recognition policies are met 
• Each purchase order is reviewed for accuracy to ensure it matches approved quotes, adheres to contract and licensing terms, meets Palo Alto Networks procurement and revenue recognition policies and is being placed by an authorized channels distributors and reseller partner
• Certain activities in Salesforce.com are administered Once a purchase order is deemed clean, before the transactions are transferred to Order Fulfillment and Trade departments for final processing and shipping

• Sales Operations Analyst, Order Management as the first point of contact for all escalations concerning Sales Orders require a strong analytical skill and understanding of complex policies and licensing processes
• Collaborate with other external and internal departments to quickly resolve customer concerns
• Interact directly with PAN Distributors, PAN Channels Distributors, PAN Channels and Sales Reps. as required
• Liaises with Sales Rep, Renewal Rep, Deal Desk  for opportunities and quotes related issues, with Deal desk for pricing and quotes matters
• Sales Operations Analyst, Order Management may collaborate with Field Sales Ops. NPI Sales Ops. Sales Support, Channels Ops, Product Compliance teams for any operational issues and Data Account team for account registration related issues
• Liaises with Fulfillment, Trade and Logistics teams to relay compliance, shipment and delivery information/documentations, Tracking and communicating any order matters (e.g order status, shipment status, serial number, etc) to both internal and external stakeholders

Job Scope:

- Handle Day-To-Day Business Operations of Singapore's #1 Education Agency

- Attend to interested clients via various forms of warm leads (form orders, calls, WhatsApp...etc)

The Director, Travel Vertical lead will be a part of the Acceptance team within the Merchant Sales and Acquiring (MS&A) hub organization. This is a team of thought leaders and execution-focused specialists who deploy acceptance growth initiatives and seller-side solutions to catalyse acceptance growth across Asia Pacific. The team is also the regional co-ordination point and interface into the global verticals and segments and drives the overall strategy for multiple initiatives to grow Visa’s acceptance footprints.

As a key member of this team based in Asia Pacific, you will be the business lead responsible for identifying and delivering on opportunities within the Travel vertical with client segments such as airlines, hotels and other travel partners/enablers. You will leverage your deep domain expertise of travel and payments to help grow Merchant Sales & Acquiring opportunities through enhancing customer experience, optimizing payment performances and driving revenue growth for both the clients and Visa. This role will report to Head of Acceptance in AP.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Build, own and drive Visa’s Travel segment strategy for merchants, acquirers, and enablers across the Travel value-chain in Asia Pacific.
• Be the subject-matter-expert to grow Visa acceptance, cobrands opportunities, acceptance solutions and various payment flows with travel merchants (eg: airlines, hotels, OTAs) as identified in the regional Travel strategy.
• Engage with ecosystem players including airlines, hotels, aggregators, travel enablers, travel associations, GDS and others to identify and build opportunities/partnerships to grow Acceptance in Travel, update on trends and obtain industry feedback.
• Collaborate with key partners - both internal and external – in defining and executing Visa’s Travel Acceptance strategy in the region, Specifically, this includes building compelling sales collateral, developing a sales pipeline, co-pitching with respective Account Executives, partnering with Product teams to define appropriate products/services, Portfolio Optimization and building commercial arrangements where required.
• Front client engagements on relevant products/solutions such as Co-Brands, CyberSource, Tokenization etc and articulate Visa value proposition in Travel customer-centric language
• Increase Visa share of processed volume and grow Visa revenue (from core and Value-added Services) in the Travel vertical
• Be a thought leader and champion of innovation by staying current with industry trends, representing Visa in Travel forums and market activities as a subject matter expert
• Work closely with marketing and respective Global/Regional Travel teams (including VCS, VCA) where required to evolve the Visa value proposition, products, and platforms globally to meet client/market needs in this ecosystem and drive future growth.

Job Responsibilities · Assist the sales team in secretarial and administrative support.

Act as a contact person between the client and the hotel in the absence of Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Sales, Asst Director of Sales, Sales Team.

Ensure all correspondences are effectively copied to all relevant departments and regional offices and traces dates effectively followed up.

Handle telephone calls to take messages, new enquiries, check room availability.

Ensure all leads are answered to and proposals are followed up with 8 hours.

Be accountable for all targets and goals set for area of responsibility.

Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the Management.

• Direct and manage all group, transient, and sales activities to maximize revenue for the area hotels within their scope of responsibility
• Works with management team to create and implement sales plan addressing revenue, customers and segments managed by individual sales team members.
• Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly/annual SMART goals, annual goals, sales budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required
• Together with Director of Revenue Management, develop rates, group ceilings and deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management
• Implement promotions and offers
• Recruit, direct, manage, train and counsel sales employee to ensure maximum revenue potential
• Lead, direct and participate in sales presentations, and client meetings
• Conduct and attend daily business review meetings, weekly strategic sales meetings, management meetings and other meetings as required/ requested
• Represent the hotel in the community and industry organizations and events when applicable
• Recommend, supervise, administer and ensure timely completion of all activities of the Sales Department
• Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOP’s, and ensure knowledge of and adherence to those policies by the sales team
• Develop and maintain market awareness to ensure ability to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies
• Recommend and monitor sales goals and maximize revenue
• Operate the Sales Department within established sales expense budget
• Initiate and follow up on sales leads
• Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within said market; ensure sales employee is held accountable for those accounts within their respective territories
• Coordinate all non-group transient sales and catering solicitations to maximize market mix
• Administer training in the Sales department

Monitor all day-to-day activities of direct reports

• Assist in the preparation of required reports in a timely manner
• Conduct weekly sales meetings and daily line ups
• Conduct regular business review meetings with Sales employee and General Manager
• Be familiar with all Mondrian Singapore Duxton sales policies and selling techniques with an emphasis on maximizing occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR) and Food & Beverage revenue
• Conduct all Sales Team performance reviews
• Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all Sales department personnel aligned with Mondrian Singapore Duxton policies and code of conduct
• Conduct a professional, thorough site inspection of the hotel with clients, exhibiting key features and benefits of the property, and ensure that all Sales Managers conduct thorough site inspections
