Overall Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Head of Hedge Fund Sales to be based in Singapore. This is a Sales Producing-Manager responsible for Institutional Clients Coverage team in Singapore for Macro Products (Global Rates, FX).
Key Accountabilities
- Macro product coverage of a variety of Hedge Funds, Real Money institutional clients.
- Primary coverage of portfolio of clients while supervising a Singapore-based team to ensure seamless client coverage across Macro Distribution in Singapore and globally.
- Drive product strategy and development within Asia EM Macro products in conjunction with key stakeholders, consistently innovate and originate new sources of revenues to grow EM Macro wallet
- Stakeholder Management and Leadership, develop strong client relationships and work with Trading, Structuring and Research to deliver the resources of the firm to address clients' needs to generate revenue – responsibilities include driving individual and team budgets
Decision-making and Problem Solving
- Ability to differentiate themselves as a business leader and an ability to drive business and identify business opportunities
- Risk and Control Objective, ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
Person Specification
- Proven people leadership skills
- Strong fundamental analysis and technical skills as a macro subject matter expert
- Extensive Rates and FX knowledge (Bonds, Rates Derivatives, Spot FX, NDF, FX Swaps, Forwards, Vanilla and Exotic FX Options)
- Experience and ability to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of regulatory and compliance procedures and how they relate to the Macro business, and provide oversight to the team locally
- Sharp fixed income execution skills, trade booking and processing, ability to help others develop their skillset to ensure a smooth client experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong ability to instill a team-first culture and cultivate a mentality to always operate in a way and take on responsibilities that best serves the team’s overall output
- Strong personality, work ethic and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across the organization both within and outside Markets

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in FX & Rates derivatives sales and execution
- Familiarity with global and regional macro clients
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, Math or related fields preferably
- Proven track record of client revenue generation
- People management experience
- Strong analytical, communication and adaptive skill set
