Team Introduction

The Product Strategy & Operations team is part of the TikTok Global Monetization Product & Technology organization and holds a strong advertiser focus and a dedication to technical excellence. We work with advertisers from all verticals, such as eCommerce, Retail, Travel, Media & Entertainment, etc, to make TikTok the most immersive and frictionless advertising experience for consumers to discover and purchase products, content and services, and for advertisers to generate and capture new and existing demand at the point of discovery. We are looking to bring on an experienced Product Marketing Manager who will lead product strategy and go-to-market planning for Lead Ads products. The near-term focus of the person in this role will be to understand the unique needs of marketers by business model and marketing objective, and support building solutions that can optimize their true business outcome on our platform.

The person in this role will drive the end-to-end lifecycle of products and partner with Product Managers and Engineers to understand customer needs, recommend features, execute tests, and lead go-to-market planning for the global launches of products to all TikTok marketers. This person will have the opportunity to become an expert on customer needs and market opportunity and use their insights to shape what solutions are built and shipped for marketers.

Responsibilities:

- Become an expert on customer problems and market needs by engaging deeply with TikTok's customers, customer-facing teams and industry sources

- Manage a high performing, global team of product marketing specialists

- Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research with the focus on exploring new solutions and gathering early insights to inform product planning

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

- MBA or equivalent advanced degree required, with a focus on Marketing, Economics or Business Administration

- 5+ years of product marketing in the tech industry

- Experience leading teams of 10+ people in product management, product marketing, or operations function

- Comfort with ambiguity and using a data-driven approach to establish strategy and priorities

- Experience launching products globally and core product marketing skills in product positioning, messaging, naming, and GTM planning
