• Manage venue and vendors – sourcing and negotiation of various services and venues required by the event
• Prepare and align event budgets, negotiate with vendors, ensure timely payment and reconciliations
• Present event plans to all levels of management

The ideal candidate for this Events Marketing Specialist position brings along good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while providing clear communication of timelines and expectations to team members. You should have the ability to analyze markets and customer needs effectively while developing marketing plans based on those needs. A proficient understanding of website functionality and email marketing best practices is essential. Experience in the development and delivery of different scales of events – virtual, in-person, hybrid – is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, organizational, written communication skills are crucial for this role. Expertise in Microsoft workflow and collaboration software applications - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Event Management and Marketing Automation software applications – Marketo, SalesForce, Cvent is a must.
