The Senior Planning Lead APAC is responsible for leading the planning and execution of digital, audio and TV sales strategies within the regional APAC sales team. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Strategic Sales Planning

• Lead the development and implementation of digital, audio and TV sales planning strategies in region, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
• Analyse market trends and sales/inventory data in collusion with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for revenue growth and provide actionable insights to sales teams and senior management.
• Collaborate with planners and their sales teams to create comprehensive, actionable and effective sales media plans and proposals that leverage new and existing products & platforms
• Establish and maintain a trusted advisor status within the wider APAC team by delivering expert advice on media planning solutions and sales strategies via liaising with Senior Planning Leads in EMEA & US markets

Campaign Management and Optimization

• Work with sales planners to implement best practice with regards to planning, setup, and execution of digital and TV campaigns, ensuring they meet client objectives and align to BBC Sales policy and compliance standards.
• When required, allocate, manage and support media planning tasks with regional Sales Planners, ensuring effective and efficient load balancing for the regional sales team in times of high demand
• Lead and manage high-value and complex media plans and campaigns when required to do so by senior management, providing strategic oversight to ensure optimal delivery and revenue recognition.
• World with sales and integrated marketing to lead regular performance reviews with customers and internal teams to assess campaign effectiveness, address issues, and implement optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with Ad Operations to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize campaigns for increased engagement and ROI.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and agency contacts across the region in collusion with the sales leads, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic campaign planning and execution when needed
• Work with internal stakeholders to facilitate quarterly workshops and training sessions for regional sales planners on digital products, market trends, and new opportunities as well as best practice, updates on sales policy and BBC advertising compliance developments

Leadership and Development

• Mentor and coach Sales Planners thus fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Own, develop and deliver BBC aligned sales training programs to new and junior sales planners to enhance understanding of digital and TV sales strategies and technical capabilities and thus ensure best in class sales planning teams across the region
• Work with sales senior management to identify performance targets for Sales Planners and conduct regular reviews to ensure the regional Sales Planning team meets its objectives and contributes to the overall success of the organization.

Campaign Reporting

• Work with Integrated Marketing to help prepare detailed reports and presentations for campaign reviews when required and support senior management, outlining sales performance, market opportunities, and strategic recommendations.

• Extensive experience in digital and TV media planning and sales, with a strong focus on strategic planning and execution.

About this role:

• Set the overall direction for marketing department; set KPIs, analyse ROIs, develop budget plan, monitor and control expenses and create annual marketing calendar to be reviewed monthly and quarterly

• Work closely with management, business development, retail sales, and corporate sales to identify marketplace opportunities, customer needs and customer satisfaction levels

• Conduct strategic research and analysis to support brand goals, increase customer conversions and generate qualified leads including: market, consumer, competitor, distribution, pricing and promotion analysis

• Develop and maintain company’s corporate branding and ensure that marketing and branding directions are aligned across all business and operational levels

• Partner with in-house creative team and external agencies to develop brand assets and marketing collaterals including print/tv/radio adverts, press releases, brochures, posters, edms, social media, web pages in alignment with brand guidelines

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with the media, advertising/PR agencies, influencers and perform effective media buys

• Responsible for organising events such as new product launches and promotions, roadshows, workshops

• Responsible for copywriting of articles, marketing materials, product information, press releases etc.

• Mentor, lead and support the marketing team to complete marketing projects from planning to execution. Work with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to campaigns.

• Perform administrative duties as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Mass Communications/Marketing/Business Administration

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Sales and Marketing with experience in a manager role

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing or designate, the Sales Manager will assist the Director of Sales to increase Corporate/MICE or Leisure client base through consistent solicitations while establishing trust and rapport with clients to generate and boost revenues for the Hotel.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designated portfolio for the hotel – industry expert in the portfolio.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in hospitality management
