The Vice President of Brand & Marketing leads the brand marketing for CNBC internationally, ensuring the brand is positioned for growth with our audience and distribution partners across multiple countries and regions. The role is responsible for coming up with wholistic marketing plans for the quarter and the year, collating and organizing brand marketing assets including on-air promos, signage and digital units, ensuring we are using our house inventory to maximum effect and working with partners on barter opportunities. In addition, he/she is tasked with measuring the performance metrics of the overall brand and the performance of individual campaigns. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works closely with the President & Managing Director to come up with a strategic marketing plan for CNBC International including the brand positioning, key audience targets and key brand health metrics

The role

Rystad Energy is recruiting for an Event Marketing Manager based in Kuala Lumpur or Jakarta. This role will collaborate with various business units and country teams in the Asia Pacific to ensure the right mix of events as part of the overall marketing strategy. It will be part of the marketing and communications team responsible for shaping and delivering strategies to drive brand awareness and support business growth.

Reporting to the Vice President, Head of APAC Marketing, the Events Marketing Manager is responsible for shaping all events in line with our messaging and new branding and implementing standards for excellence across all Rystad Energy events in the APAC region. He/she will be required to manage all details relating to event budgeting, messaging, agendas, logistics, on-site management, follow-up, and measurement.

Your responsibilities

• Short- and long-term planning and coordination of Rystad Energy events, including budget development and aligning common standards for excellence
• Plan and execute successful events of all sizes, including, but not limited to, summits, forums, briefings, tradeshows, webinars, and roundtables
• Create and manage a database to evaluate external events (tradeshows, conferences, speaking opportunities, etc.) and Rystad Energy’s strategy for involvement, aligned with the overall global marketing strategy and commercial objectives
• Align with the commercial team before, during, and after to ensure a successful event and that all onsite learnings are captured for future improvements
• Collaborate with other regions to ensure innovations are being adopted across all regions
• Establish yourself as the go-to person for clients and prospects when attending our events
• Improve and strengthen the professionalization of Rystad Energy’s internal and external events

Experience, skills, and personal qualities

• Bachelor / Master’s degree in relevant areas, e.g., Marketing, Events, Hospitality, Design, Business Administration

• Relevant B2B marketing experience
• Strong multi-tasker, problem-solving, strategic, analytical & project management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Other Asian languages (Eg. Japanese/Korean) will be advantageous.
