An energetic and detail-oriented client focused leader to oversee media strategy for B2B client programs. The person will lead client and campaign media strategy whilst helping shape the relationships we build with customers and media vendors. What you will do:

• You would lead the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of accounts, helping to develop plans and implement campaigns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all key client decision makers at both a senior and operational level, ensuring we are meeting their needs and developing capabilities to drive future growth.
• Have a strong knowledge of paid media solutions relevant for B2B and as part of your role, stay abreast of emerging marketing trends and solutions.
• You can plan, execute, optimize, and report on strategic digital media campaigns with an emphasis on paid media tactics (including direct vendor/partner executions, programmatic media, content syndication, etc.)
• Be comfortable providing strategic recommendations and insights from program inception to completion for digital media channels for our B2B clients

• At least 5 years of experience in managing clients, with sound knowledge of digital planning and buying/execution/optimization
• B2B client experience is a major plus!

We are looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications professional to lead our marketing and communications efforts in Singapore. You will report directly to the Region Marcom Leader. The Singapore marcom lead will develop and implement the marketing and communications strategy aligned with the region and country / cluster overall business goals and objectives. You will understand B2B marketing principles and techniques and have a proven track record of success in executing marketing campaigns. You will drive external communications (80%) to elevate NIQ brand image in the Singapore and support local internal communications (20%) in partnership with HR and other functions to inform, engage and motivate internal associates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Singapore marketing and communications strategy, including demand generation campaigns, advertising, branding, communications, and public relations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, customer success and product marketing, to ensure that marketing and communication efforts are aligned with the region’s overall business goals and clearly tracked for ROI reporting.
• Collaborate with global, region and other peer marcom members, ensuring that everyone is working together towards common goals for the marketing function globally at NIQ.
• Leverage the full marketing mix including digital and communication tools to drive demand into top, middle and bottom of marketing funnel, with always-on sales lead engine to generate pipeline and revenue impact while strengthening brand value and preference
• Oversee the follow-up, nurture and flow of marketing qualified leads to sales to meet marketing contribution targets and maximize the return on investment.
• Build and maintain the company's brand and reputation, and position NIQ/GfK as a thought leader in the Singapore within the region
• Manage the country marcom budget, ensuring that marketing and external communications efforts are cost-efficient and tracked to planned ROI targets
• Analyse data and use it to make informed decisions about marcom strategy and tactics. Measure the success of campaigns, evaluate, and optimise performance using relevant metrics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Key Result Area: Grow the Business and Achieve Sales Targets

• Generate and qualify new leads and subsequently contact and arrange for an appointment (via phone calls, LinkedIn, emails) to meet them in person for an introduction and/or sales presentation.
• Provide professional services to current and new clients through consultative selling, cross-selling or up-selling the company’s products and/or services that may benefit them.
• Establish and maintain strong and lasting relationships with clients as a trusted advisor by regularly updating them with company’s new products and/or introducing innovative solutions, and providing continuing pre-sales and post-sales support in managing and meeting their expectations.
• Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge to effectively engage in business discussions with clients across industries, and to co-create feasible solutions to address any of their engineering concerns throughout the selling process.

• Coordinate sales effort with Client Service Executives (CSEs) and members from other departments.
• Liaise with CSEs to interpret customer requirements, jointly deliver appropriate solutions and manage client expectations with the end-goal of sales in mind.
• Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors’ movements.
• Prepare costing, tenders, proposals and quotations to current and new clients. Responsible for document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with clients and suppliers.
• Negotiate with current and new clients on contracts and sales orders.
• Coordinate and collaborate with external strategic partners, including key vendors/contractors to effectively close business deals.
• Provide weekly report updates of sales, pipelines, leads, opportunities and sales activities.
• Contribute to team dynamism by sharing sales and competitors’ information.
• Collectively resolve clients’ complaints by investigating problems and developing effective solutions to satisfy their needs.

• Provide technical support and advice for clients and refer to engineer specialist to determine if query is to be redirected to factory if it is beyond current team’s expertise.

• Maintain proper documentation of clients’ contacts and sales services provided.
• Ensure responsive services with follow ups, build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to secure new or additional sales.

The Events Lead of DealStreetAsia will join an entrepreneurial team that is expanding the portfolio of world-class conferences for audiences in the Private Equity and Venture Capital industry.

The Events Lead will be primarily responsible for all revenue streams linked to our flagship Asia PE-VC Summit and ancillary events. They will also own the event budget. The role requires a creative and strategic thinker, with a strong affinity for sales, and an understanding of the live event space, esp the key financial drivers. It requires knowledge of and passion for the business and finance industry, as well as the technology and marketing tools that serve to attract audiences. You will need a strong network of contacts in the startup, PE/VC and finance industries.

You will identify, prospect and source sponsorship and partnership opportunities as well as maximize (corporate) ticket sales for the event.

Responsibilities:

• Build the DealStreetAsia Events model, leading the largest Asia PE-VC Summit as the key event of the year and building more ancillary events
• Lead event sponsorship proposals / advertising sales & coordinate sponsorship activation with the sponsorship coordinator
• Oversee (non-content) production for Asia PE VC Summit, including managing logistics, contracts, vendors, promotion, marketing, website, ticketing, payment gateways, printed materials and technical aspects
• Create customised sponsorship/partnership proposals for potential clients. Working with the commissioned research and partner content team for customised reports, bespoke events within the flagship summit
• Work closely with the Editor in chief to plan and manage DSA event calendar
• Oversee event marketing and communication.
