Responsibilities:
• Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities through various channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and inbound marketing leads.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients by understanding their needs and aligning them with our technology solutions.
• Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with internal teams to design effective sales strategies, customize proposals, and deliver presentations that address client pain points.
• Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth. Track and document all sales.
• Closing Deals: Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to final negotiation and contract signing. Ensure a smooth handover to the account management team post-sales.
• Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify potential opportunities and threats.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
• Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall company revenue growth.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in business development or sales in the technology industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a “hunter” role.
• Strong ability to identify, approach, and close new business deals.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technology solutions clearly.
• Strong networking skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with potential clients.
• Self-Starter: A highly independent worker who takes initiative and doesn't rely on others to generate leads.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strategic thinking to analyse client needs and propose creative solutions that address their challenges.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities simultaneously.
• Adaptability: Ability to adjust strategies based on market trends, feedback, and changing client needs.
