We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who combines agile expertise with a strong understanding of business processes and application logic. In this role, you will facilitate agile practices within cross-functional teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly understood, translated into application logic, and effectively integrated into the development process. The ideal candidate will drive agile adoption, foster team collaboration, and ensure that our product development aligns with business goals and delivers value to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more agile teams, guiding them in the use of agile methodologies and promoting continuous improvement.

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, and the underlying application logic.

• Translate business needs into actionable user stories, ensuring that development aligns with business objectives and customer requirements.

• Foster team collaboration and self-organization, removing impediments to progress and facilitating communication between team members.

• Track and report on key metrics to measure team performance, sprint progress, and project outcomes.

• Coach team members in agile practices and work to build a culture of continuous improvement.

• Advocate for agile principles and best practices within the organization, contributing to the broader agile transformation.

• Ensure application logic and technical requirements support business needs, providing insight and guidance to the team where necessary.

• Act as a liaison between technical and business teams to help align development efforts with strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role in agile development, ideally with experience in business process management.

• Strong understanding of business processes, application logic, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Hands-on experience with agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management software.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or other relevant agile certifications preferred.
