Responsibilities

Due diligence on borrowers

• Due diligence on prospective clients before taking up the proposals on board and at time of review which includes obtaining ACRA, D&B, status reports from banks, statements of accounts with existing banks and market reports. Checking the names with RBI defaulters list and litigations etc. against the company / directors /shareholders.
• Ensure necessary CDD / AML & CFT measures are in place in relation with promoter’s background and business, including any adverse media reports.

Screening of prospective & existing borrowers

• Carry out screening of directors / shareholders in world compliance check and obtain KYC documents.
• Risk rating of customers based on nature, place of incorporation, jurisdiction of incorporation, corporate shareholders, suspicious transactions, tax litigations and politically exposed persons etc.

Credit rating of borrowal accounts

· Carry out credit rating of the customer as per internal rating model. The model is based on the financials and other aspects including management, industry and past experience to arrive at risk rating and pricing. Our internal rating model (OVS model) is devised by KPMG independently and it is well defined, consistent and mapped with regulatory requirements of grading as per MAS 612.

· Credit rating model to incorporate the various characteristics of the borrower, such as key financials indicators, business, industry factors, conduct of account etc.

• To arrive at pricing of the loan, having regard to risk rating, industry scenario, cost of funds, asset-liability position, operating costs, profit margin and security offered.

• Analysis of balance sheet, operating statements and cash flow of the borrower and also consider cash flow of group / parent companies to take holistic view of the group.
• Analyse Key financial ratios and compare with benchmark ratios as per policy.
• Analyse the trend of business, compare projections v/s performance and assess business model whether it is self sustained.

Assessment of credit limits

• Assess the requirement of the borrower based on past performance and future trends, trade cycle, and cost of project (for project finance term loans).
• It is also based on credit strength of obligor and our borrower and group exposure limits. Internal rating is carried out without undue reliance on external ratings.
• Syndicated loans are appraised independently without undue reliance on assessment of lead arranger or underwriter of the facility.

· Collaterals & guarantees may be obtained as credit mitigation measures.

As Senior Sales Enablement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the Sales Enablement function by supercharging the success of our sales teams, equipping them with the tools, resources and knowledge to exceed our goals. Your focus will be on increasing deal-flow velocity through the creation and management of sales collateral such as thought leadership content, white papers and engaging pieces of work that can challenge the position of cross-border payments in a competitive landscape and amplify our sales message.

Your Mission: 

• Define the key issues that exist within the region in relation to the servicing of cross-border payments for consumers, small to medium businesses and large platform enterprises . Build and maintain a strategy that positions Wise Platform, our products and services as the solution to these issues.
• Develop and maintain a target list of accounts that fit with our GTM approach in the region and our overall Wise Platform strategy, sharing and refining with the regional lead as appropriate.
• Work closely with our marketing and product teams to develop a comprehensive commercial playbook that will enable an efficient and transferable launch into a new market or new product.
• Develop and maintain sales collateral that addresses these issues in collaboration with Marketing, such as white papers and thought leadership content to challenge the status quo of cross-border payments.
• Create an evolving competitor analysis document that highlights the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of our key competitors in comparison to Wise Platform. 
• Support the creation of internal and external sales collateral that will form part of our sales playbook - delivering a consistent and compelling message to our sales teams and partners.
• Help to maintain our knowledge management platform as a single source of information, collateral and data. Ensure our content is accurate and up to date by collaboration with various stakeholders such as Product and by adhering to our control framework.
• Assist with the creation and management of our RFP content library to streamline our response process.
• Work closely with our regional Sales Co-ordinators to ensure consistency of delivery and Sales Enablement support across all regions. 
• Provide subject matter expertise to our sales team by joining partner opportunity meetings / workshops and industry conferences.
• Use data, market insights and industry trends to enhance our sales messaging for specific opportunities.
