Its import of soybean; export of soybean dreg, phospholipid and fibers; and wood pulp procurement have reached various regions of the world.
Towards business expansion initiative, the Singapore subsidiary company has two (2) vacancies for Trader position. The position offers excellent growth & experience potential.
Responsibilities:
1. Experience in Agricultural products trading with an established network and proven track record within the region.
2. Familiar with trading process and model with seed-oil and or agricultural products.
3. Assist with the import and export processes, which includes monitoring and minimizing process risks, and ensuring proper execution of import and export process.
4. Responsible for checking and filing of import and export contracts, ensuring compliance with related requirements. Shipping tracking and providing timely feedback to management to ensure systematically completing of the entire process.
5. Coordinate with other departments of the Company, to track and timely follow up as needed for the import and export, customs clearance, inspection processes, and to facilitate interdepartmental communications to ensure smooth operations.
6. Timely tracking, identification and assessment of any quality issues during import and export, providing timely feedback and to resolving the issues accordingly.
7. Regular communication and actively promoting relationships with customers, suppliers and other business partners to foster long term cooperation.
8. Collecting market information to analyze market situation, and to evaluate trading strategies. Providing timely feedback to relevant teams.
9. Coordinating, managing and assisting with business developments in the region;
10.Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in International Trade, Agricultural Products, Finance, or Economics.
2. 3 to 5 years of commodity trading experience. Those related to seed-oil and agricultural products preferred.
3. Familiar with trading procedures and Southeast Asian market, proficient with trading terms and rules.
4. Detail-oriented and efficient, with a strong sense of responsibility and ability to handle work pressure.
5. Outgoing personality, good communication skills, and teamwork spirit.
6. Understanding of CBOT futures business, experience in seed-oil and agricultural products related bulk commodity industry or industrial chain is preferred.
