The Strategic Operations Division is responsible for corporate planning, communications & engagement, financial governance, human resource and office management, and IT support. The Finance, Governance and Planning Department of the Strategic Operations Division of SIF is responsible for strategic planning, budget management and corporate governance. The Finance team oversees our financial accounts and fosters good corporate governance and stewardship through adherence to the industry’s best practices and statutory requirements and works with our Divisions to deliver optimal budget planning and utilisation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of accounts payable.
• Verify accounting documents to ensure compliance with company policies and approved budgets.
• Maintain and update accounting system and records.
• Assist in preparing annual audit and accounting system upgrades.
• Liaise with auditors, bankers and other professional advisors.
• Act as a Finance Partner to handle various staff queries.
• Lead/Assist in streamlining processes in the Finance department.
• Support other ad-hoc Finance department matters as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting with 3 – 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
• Meticulous with an eye for details.
• Pro-active team player.
• High sense of integrity with good communication/interpersonal skills and a good command of English.
• Effective time management skills, independent and meticulous, with good ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of public sector financial policies and procedures would be an advantage.
• Singaporean.

Responsibilities (Work Scope):

• Develop and implement SCCC’s programmes and be accountable for delivering project deliverables that are in line with established SCCC strategic priorities and programming pillars. These responsibilities include managing and monitoring the progress of projects; planning timelines and milestones to meet deadlines; allocating and monitoring project budget and expenditure; coordinating vendors, partners and project teams; calling for tenders; procuring goods and services; delegating duties and logistical arrangements; and evaluating project deliverables.
• Work closely with SCCC Operations and Corporate Communications teams, partners and vendors to ensure the effective implementation of SCCC’s programmes.
• Oversee maintenance and technical support of projects by working closely with vendors and SCCC Operations Team to project manage the various productions.
• Liaise and work effectively with local artistes, arts and cultural groups, and vendors to organise SCCC programmes.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of information, documents, data collation of participation figures, feedback and survey results for assigned projects.
• Assist with administrative tasks and other duties, such as data collation and maintaining of databases, as assigned by Director (Programmes) and Assistant Director (Programmes), SCCC.

Requirements:

• A degree in Arts Management, Humanities, Chinese Studies or Communications.
• Minimum of at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the arts or cultural sector, and/or programme and events management. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply;
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin, with strong proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and translation of text into Mandarin;
• Has passion and strong interest in Chinese arts, culture and heritage;
• Experience in managing stakeholders would be preferred;
• Knowledge and experience in working with youths, young parents and/or seniors would be an advantage;
• Meticulous, good with details, resourceful, fast-learner, able to multi-task and handle all aspects of project/programmes management;
• Good interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills;
• Good time and project management skills;
• Able to work independently and be a good team player;
• Willing to work on weekday evenings and weekends, if required, especially for our physical events such as festivals, performances, concerts, conferences, and workshops (note: Days off-in-lieu will be provided accordingly); and
• Singaporean/Singapore PR only.

Job Desciption:

• Support the Business Development Manager in setting and achieving company goals.
• Assist in maintaining existing customers, developing new ones, and handling contract negotiations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through sales presentations, product demos, and exhibitions.
• Work with R&D to enhance presentations on new product features and technologies.

• Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity, projections, and reports.
• Subject to approval, plan customer visits to resolve issues, increase sales, negotiate prices, and gather feedback.
• Perform other duties as required to achieve sales and marketing objectives.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of B2B and B2C sales experience in electronics products.
• A diploma in engineering, marketing, or business studies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with international exposure.
• Good business acumen and customer relationship management skills.
• Mature, self-disciplined, and result-driven.
• Willing to travel to the U.S., Japan, Europe, and the region.
