The Head of Sales is a senior executive with a mission to deliver topline success for Glints' ambitious growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

Drive Growth:

• Build and execute strategies to achieve Glints’ ambitious topline revenue target of SGD60 million by 2029.
• Develop a data-driven commercial framework to enhance pricing power and strengthen sales capabilities.

Pipeline & Revenue Management:

• Establish a structured process to identify, prioritize, and close sales opportunities.
• Implement a transparent and timely system for pipeline management and revenue forecasting.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Build and lead a high-performing sales organization, managing Key Account Directors directly and SME sales teams in collaboration with geographical leaders.
• Inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed targets through mentorship and clear goal-setting.

Client Engagement & Retention:

• Establish Glints as the partner of choice by ensuring high-quality customer experiences.
• Lead the creation of pricing, discount, and customization frameworks to maintain profitability while meeting client needs.

Market Expansion:

• Design and implement go-to-market strategies for new segments, ensuring Glints' unique value proposition resonates with target audiences.
• Build scalable playbooks to drive growth in untapped markets.

Collaboration & Alignment:

• Partner with functional and geographical leaders to align sales objectives with broader organizational goals.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure customer success and operational efficiency.

General information

As a Service Sales Specialist , you will be responsible for helping to drive sales volumes and margins across the service product portfolio and regularly updating the database with changes made on-site.

Reporting to Service Sales Manager, you will be playing a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base and promoting various upgrade, retrofit and value-added solutions.

This position is based in Singapore.

Your responsibilities

• Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them, and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed.
• Utilizing IB database to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifying and developing sales opportunities for service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market.
• Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios.
• Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM).
• Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy. Managing administrative sales processes.
• Contributing to risk assessments related to price and quality. Registering required information into the appropriate customer database.
• Translating the needs of customer into relevant ABB Service offerings and solutions.

Your background

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical /Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Possess 3 to 5 years of working experience in Engineering/Service Sales.
• Hands-on experience on Electrical Medium and Low voltage system servicing will be an added advantage.
• Highly sales driven and with the ability to develop and manage customer relationship.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience.

• Comfortable working on weekends and public holidays as per the roster.

• Working Hours:AM Shift: 10:30am - 7:30pm / 8:30pm, or 9:30am - 6:30pm / 7:30pm.
  PM Shift: 11:15am / 12:15pm - 9:15pm (store closes at 9pm), or 11:45am / 12:45pm - 9:45pm (store closes at 9:30pm).
