• A regional equipment coordinator is responsible of the respective size type for Region Asia.
• Ensure most cost effective empty move while timely management of repositioning specific size type in/out Region Asia to support budget/forecast
• Strategic execution: Track agreed KPI metrics to support strategic planning and execution

Responsibilities

• Cost Control

1. Reduction of Empty Ancillary Cost, S&D Cost to support S&D budget
2. Equipment Planning: Perform equipment situation and inventory development analysis given updated forecast with cost consideration
3. Ensure spend on ancillary items such as storage, inefficient moves are monitored and minimized
4. Monitor and further reduce planned S&D cost to be within budget guidelines i.e., reduction of stockfeeding movements
   

• Equipment Management

1. Manage empty equipment and ensure sufficient equipment availability to support budget/forecast
2. Initiate interventions and follow up (stockfeed, deadhead instructions/guidance)
3. Ensure forecast accuracy and stockfeeding plan is made available 2-3 weeks ahead
4. Improve stockfeeding plan (2-3 weeks ahead) for 70% of the outports
5. Improve empty planning share within sub-regions (via 70% DAP actions)
   

• Collaborating with Area EQ team to ensure sufficient equipment availability and avoid deficit or surplus situation.

Requirements

• Degree in Logistics or equivalent professional qualification

About the job

As a member of the Education Division, this person will direct activities of the Education sales team to produce a healthy pipeline, drive sales, build brand recognition for training products and services, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
