Position Summary:
The Technical Sales Engineer- Renewable Energy is a member of the business support team, focusing on delivering quality sales support, market and competitor research.
The Technical Sales Engineer- Renewable Energy is to initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities in the assigned region for the range of Company’s products, with special emphasis on growing the assigned industry business volume and achieving the sales and income targets set by the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide technical assistance and consultancy for Pre-sales and Post-sales service to technical team and meet customers’ expectations
· Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers through sales planning and scheduled calls
· Perform site-visit upon project enquiries
· Prepare technical documentation for project bidding and assist in tendering process
· Conduct regular technical updates and knowledge sharing session with the technical team
· Provide consultancy in systems’ design, installation and technical clarification to the pre-sales team and customers
· Responsible to set up Proof of Concept and product demonstration and integration
· Maintain high level of cooperation and teamwork with the Business Development team
· Undertake any other tasks as and when assigned by the Supervisor
Job requirements:
· Bachelor Degree preferably in Electrical and Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
· More than 2 years' experience working as a Photovoltaic Installation or equivalent combination of education and experience in Photovoltaic/Renewable Energy industry
· Creative and innovative thinker with good business acumen
· Result and achievement oriented
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
