The candidate will work alongside our global team to design, build, and maintain both compute and storage services that are continuously scaling to support the growth of the company. This role requires in depth knowledge of Linux platforms and distributed storage systems, including performance optimization and capacity management. This candidate will ideally have experience with bare metal, hypervisors, containers, and public cloud platforms. Your day to day could consist of hardware and software installation and configuration, monitoring and alerting improvements and configurations, automation and tool development, and much more.

• Manage systems efficiently at scale through standardization, automation, testing, and in depth monitoring
• Enforce development standards for source control, testing, and continuous integration for infrastructure, OS, patches, and configuration management
• Manage a distributed compute environment and several petabyte-scale storage systems
• Install, manage, and monitor the Linux operating system (RHEL based)
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues throughout the stack
• Work with business owners to regularly re-prioritize the book of work, while delivering both tactical and long term objectives

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a technology infrastructure role including Linux administration
• Experience working with configuration management driven administration using tools such as Chef or Ansible
• Experience with distributed storage and different storage protocols (NFS, GPFS, WEKA)
• Proficient in Python, or other high level language (Go, Rust, etc)
• Experience with modern software development: version control, agile development, ci/cd
• Observability in distributed systems (ex. Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience working with various cloud providers (AWS and GCP).
• Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and develop with us,
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, adaptable, and pressured environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or related area.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in regional and local risk and compliance matters;
• Assist in the development and maintenance of risk and compliance programme and controls, in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements;
• Assist in day-to-day AML compliance related matters, including AML/KYC check, AML alerts handling;
• Assist in corporate governance matters;
• Work closely with internal stakeholders such as business, IT, product and operational unit and external stakeholders such as consultant, counsel and regulators in regard to the risk and compliance matters;
• Conduct research on the new crypto-related regulation, and provide compliance advice to management and relevant business units;
• Deliver in-house risk and compliance training

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline required;
• Previous experience in a financial institution or crypto firm is a plus;
• Good interpersonal skills with good communications skills;
• Strong passion in the crypto space;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin;

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete requests for proposals, information, and due diligence questionnaire.
• Collaborate with senior RFP Specialist / Sales Manager(s) on more complex requests/proposals
• Contribute to the development of content for new strategies and products
• Support the updating of presentation decks for overseas partners
• Maintain and update the information in the investment/consultant databases and RFP Library on a regular basis.
• Respond to requests from other teams on RFP-related information
• Participate in team projects and other initiatives

Job Requirements

• A degree holder with at least 2 years of experience in the financial industry and/or prior project management or writing experience.
• Willing to learn, possess a “can do” attitude, and has a strong eye to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Good in fostering positive working relationships with peers and subject matter experts across the firm, and comfortable interacting with senior management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and financial analysis tools such as Bloomberg and Morningstar are highly preferred
