Qualcomm is looking for an experienced Export Compliance professional to execute on its enterprise-wide Export & Sanctions Compliance Operations. This role will review and release physical shipment requests, provide process enhancement and risk assessment on Operations. The candidate will collaboratively work with the global Export Compliance team and internal functional groups such as Distribution Center, Logistics, Export Compliance Liaisons, Customs, Sales, Customer Service, Program Management, Engineering to release shipments based on established compliance processes supporting applicable export regulations. The successful candidate for this position will be an initiative-taking and highly productive individual with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, operate at the transactions, and project level. The candidate is expected to work under deadlines, prioritize projects, report status to management, be meticulous, detailed oriented, able to work independently and is highly organized.

Skills and Experience

• Broad knowledge of export laws and regulations and best practices of export controls and sanctions of the US, Wassenaar and other countries laws such as Singapore SGCA, Germany BAFA, primarily US Department of Commerce’s Export Administration Regulations and US Foreign Trade.
• Proven experience in export transaction review, export and re-export license requirement, partner due diligence (includes MEU/MIEU) and restricted party screening.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to manage data from multiple sources and interpret requirements and regulations to management and in teams’ settings with collaborative functional groups.
• Ability to develop trusting relationships across Qualcomm, including within corporate functions, business teams and external sources.
• Effective communication and presentation skills to convey information accurately to the cross functional groups such as Sales Operations, Logistics and Customs teams etc.
• Collaborate with multiple teams such as Export Compliance and Government Affairs, team members and business groups to develop and implement creative solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and manage shipment requests (sales orders/miscellaneous shipments) which meets export compliance regulation and license requirement.
• Agile partner distribution request review.
• Improve Operations process and analyze risk assessment.
• Execute post shipment audit and EEI audit
• Maintain Export & Sanctions Compliance operations standard operating procedures (SOP) to meet the most updated practice or regulation changes.
• Drive Operations automation projects with multiple system teams (Trade Export System, SAP, Sales Force, QSales).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ working experiences which includes no less than 2 years direct working experiences on international trade and compliance related filed, and Operational experiences are preferred.
• Working knowledge of SGCA,US, EU export control regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), US Foreign Trade Regulations and Wassenaar Arrangement Regulations, especially Categories 3, 4, 5 (Part I and II) of the CCL.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Legal, International Business, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering and/or business equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge / experience in telecommunications, information security, cryptography, electronics, integrated circuits, and computer export controls.

Preferred Qualification

• Additional multilateral regimes and regulations of the countries where Qualcomm operates.
• Familiarity with Oracle, E2Open, SAP, Agile, SharePoint, Sales Force, Dow Jones search tools.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead aftermarket sales efforts within the APAC region. This role focuses on driving sales in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) services, spare parts, and achieving annual revenue and profitability targets. The position requires fostering strong customer relationships, gathering market intelligence, and developing strategies to enhance business growth.

This role will report to the Head of Regional Sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns for MRO services and spare parts, including landing gear overhauls, component modifications, and initial spares provisioning.
• Secure long-term contracts by understanding market trends, identifying opportunities, building business cases, and leading commercial and contract negotiations.
• Promote and position aftersales services such as health management, predictive maintenance solutions, and surplus trading for incremental sales.
• Achieve annual financial targets, including sales revenue and EBIT.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and addressing escalations such as account receivables.
• Support customer satisfaction initiatives, including surveys and ratings.
• Participate in industry events, workshops, exhibitions, and other company functions as required.
• Business travel of 30%-50% may be required, sometimes on short notice.

Key Requirements

• Degree in International Business, Business Management, Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales, business development, or customer service roles, ideally in the aerospace or aviation industry.
• Extensive network within the aerospace/aviation sector.
• Strong business acumen with strategic vision and customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., MS Dynamics), Power BI, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of P&L, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to create business cases and deliver impactful presentations.
• Team-oriented, accountable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Flexible working hours and availability for short-notice travel.
