Reporting directly to the Global IT Infrastructure Manager you will be required to be responsible for the day to day management of all relevant ICT systems and personnel.

In this role you will manage a helpdesk service function for all internal employees dealing with server hardware, server software applications and operating systems, phones, email enquiries, application issues and not limited to issues regarding the Network and PC Operating Systems, ensuring staff are suitably trained and issues are dealt with in a prompt manner. You will also be required to provide regular reports on problem areas with specific suggestions for enhancement to benefit all users.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day running of the helpdesk
• Assist in the design, selection, installation and configuration of systems, software, and infrastructure
• Provide hands-on technical 2nd/3rd line IT Support, and act as an escalation point for the helpdesk
• Responding to internal staff requests by phone/email/remote control of systems
• Creation of dynamic training materials including screenshots/videos for users
• Onboarding/Offboarding new staff on process and procedure for issue resolution
• Deploying employee systems and modifying standard images to suit growing needs

Job Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in related fields
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of help desk or technical support experience

Contract Duration:

• Initial Contract Period: 1 March 2025 – 28 February 2027
• Option to Extend: 1-year extension from 1 March 2027 – 29 February 2028, subject to school discretion.

Working Hours:

• Days: Monday to Friday (5-day workweek)
• Hours: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM (including a 1-hour lunch break)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facilities Maintenance:

• Ensure cleanliness of school premises, including meeting rooms, offices, staff rooms, and classrooms.
• Perform tasks such as floor sweeping, mopping, rubbish disposal, and cleaning tables and chairs.

1. Equipment Maintenance:

• Operate and maintain school equipment, including air purifiers, standing fans, and fire extinguishers.

1. Logistics Support:

• Provide and prepare logistics arrangements for school events and activities.
• Carry, move, and arrange furniture and equipment as needed.

1. Administrative Support:

• Perform simple administrative tasks, such as distributing items to classrooms and staff rooms.

1. Contractor Escorting:

• Escort external contractors performing maintenance tasks such as pest control, aircon servicing, building repairs, and electrical work.

• Receive damage or fault reports from teachers.
• Coordinate with technical staff and monitor repair progress.
• Ensure safety measures are in place during maintenance work.

1. Operational Support:

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

1. Educational Background:

• Primary school education or equivalent.

1. Relevant Experience:

• Experience in logistics, facilities maintenance, or a similar role is advantageous.

Job Description:

• Plan and carry out meaningful and purposeful programmes and activities to enable residents to learn new things or continue to use their abilities
• Help residents experience autonomy by supporting them in their basic activities of daily living (e.g. dressing, meal, toileting, personal hygiene, mobility) through appropriate levels of prompt/cues
• Support therapy interventions in the ward to enable residents to optimise their functions in daily living
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of wards including equipment, furniture and tools, crockery
• Meal set up and assist in serving meals and drink to residents
• Collaborate with staff in the ward to deliver quality care services to residents (eg. Vital signs taking for residents)
• Maintain care excellence through proper documentation of the residents’ progress
• Assist Volunteer Coordinator in collaborating with volunteer and community in running volunteer-supported activities for residents
