Duties and responsibilities

Providing first-level helpdesk and end-user support.

The Product Sales Specialist - Filtration for Cytiva is responsible for driving Filtration business in ASEAN region. This position is part of the ASEAN Commercial Team located in Thailand /Singapore and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Responsible for contributing information to sales strategies and account plans, as part of the core account team.
• Primarily focus on Filtration sales within ASEAN and supports all Filtration products that are sold both by providing the Account Manager in sales process with product expertise as well as independently identifying opportunities.
• Develop the sales of modality solutions in ASEAN, establishing long-lasting technical customer relationships.
• Provide high-level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes and promotional events.
• Lead technical and process-related discussions with customer Subject Matter Experts and give applicative support including trouble shooting and answer customer queries of sophisticated technical and applicative nature.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Life Sciences or relevant field.
• Expertise in Filtration

It would be a plus if you also possess:

• 3 -5 years work experience in the in the Biotech industry

The Opportunity

The role of Product Sales Specialist is an integral part of the team. It’s the representative to our customers in both the clinic as well as the hospital settings throughout Singapore.

You will work both independently and within the Singapore team, to diligently plan, organize and carry out activities that will assist the company to meet targets and meet our high expectations for quality customer service. This is a somewhat autonomous role, where you need to be comfortable with making front line decisions and putting forward recommendations to improve process efficiencies to ensure the highest quality of service resulting in the achievement of the monthly sales targets.

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, this role is a permanent role where hours are standard business hours, on site in our Singapore Office.

Key responsibilities

• Assess customers’ needs and position our product/ offering accordingly
• Achieve allocated monthly sales target
• Present product information and demonstrate how the product works
• Communicate and persuade targeted doctors to prescribe CardioScan services utilizing effective selling skills
• Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits
• Keep detailed records of all local customer contacts
• Manage account information and buying trends
• Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
• Plan work schedules with weekly and monthly timetables for the assigned territory
• Prepare and submit weekly updates and monthly sales reports

About you

• Minimum 1-2 years experience as a medical sales representative/cabin crew or similar role
• Diploma/ Degree or equivalent
• Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and cope with company expansion plans
• Be a self-motivated, pleasant individual with a strong customer service focus
