• Technical working knowledge of flora and botany, vegetation and habitat classifications, and ecosystem dynamics within Singapore and/or SE Asia. Includes terrestrial biodiversity; knowledge of coastal or intertidal floral (e.g., mangroves/seagrass) communities is a plus.
• Contributing to environmental projects and business growth in Singapore, SE Asia, and Asia (depending project opportunities) on technical aspects of one or more of the following: Biodiversity Impact Assessment (BIA), Environmental Maintenance and Management Plans (EMMP), Environmental Baseline Studies (EBS) including biodiversity baselining or monitoring etc. Ability to work on a combination of these services will be highly regarded.
• Participate/experienced in biodiversity surveys with a key emphasis on flora, ID species on site, experienced biodiversity impact assessments, sustainability reporting TNFD etc.
• Have a keen interest and knowledge base in Nature Positive approaches, habitat restoration and habitat offsetting.
• Contributing to project presentations and client meetings with senior staff and Project Managers.
• Technical support working closely with senior staff and Project Managers

Our Client is looking for a high-calibre professional to serve as a KYC specialist. This role may support transformation related initiatives involving target operating model, policy and platform changes and process transformation. This is a 6 months contract position, renewable based on performance.

Responsibilities

· Due diligence including name screening as per KYC policy of group.

· Escalate concerns relating to customer due diligence and screening alerts for appropriate additional approvals in line with KYC procedure.

· Manage client responses to KYC requirements and resolve customer queries related to documentation.

· Manage periodic review pipeline and ensure completion of due diligence prior to periodic renewal due date.

Job Requirements

· 1 – 2 years experience in the finance industry in a AML KYC, sanctions and change environment.

· Experience in Transaction Monitoring is preferred.

· Strong knowledge of AML and KYC regulations, especially Singapore regime.

· Familiar with KYC Screening tools such as Refinitiv, Lexis Nexis.

· Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

· Meticulous, coupled with the ability to work under pressure and tight timelines

You will be responsible for managing the onboarding process of counterparties and financial institution (FI) partners. This role involves conducting due diligence, preparing documentation, collaborating with internal teams, maintaining databases, and supporting institutional business operations. Counterparty Onboarding

• Conduct due diligence for counterparty reviews and seek committee approval for onboarding.

• Update and maintain internal databases with partner information.
• Ensure safekeeping of documents in the internal database.
• Coordinate with counterparties and the IT department to set up data feed arrangements.

Regional Offices Collaboration

• Collaborate with regional offices and address their queries or requests related to interoffice business matters.
• Support regional offices in terms of interoffice documentation and maintaining updated records in the central database.

Institutional Business Support

• Attend to sales inquiries and provide timely support.
• Calculate quarterly and yearly incentives for sales and research teams.
• Compute the annual profit and loss (P&L) for the institutional business unit.
• Prepare and process KYC documentation, participation letters, and commission/research agreements for authorized signoffs.

Management Support

• Assist management with data retrieval, analysis, and ad-hoc reporting tasks when required.
• Support internal management reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in counterparty onboarding, KYC compliance, and financial institution partnership management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data management.
• Possess problem solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solution
• Analytical mind to assess data and provide insights to support decision-making and process improvement.
