RESPONSIBILITIES

Counsellor/Senior Counsellor/Social Worker - Family Support Services (FAM@FSC, WL)

You will be part of the team to provide casework and counselling services for families, with the goal for families to achieve healthy family functioning, and to deliver divorce support programmes and services to families who are affected by divorce, with the goal for families and their children to achieve stability and self-reliance. 

Job Responsibilities:

Casework and Counselling

• Conduct counselling for individuals, couples and families who are experiencing stress due to family-related issues with moderate complex cases. Includes Online counselling.
• Identify, assessment and manage risks inherent in complex cases by integrating a range of information and screening tools.

Support Programme and Workshops

• Plan, review and facilitate groupwork intervention for parents and children.

Practice Governance

• Support the Centre Manager in the implementation of practice standards, protocols, processes and policies

Requirements:

• Master Degree in Counselling or Bachelor Degree in Social Work, preferably with a recognised certification in Counselling.
• A Counsellor should have atleast three years of working experience.
• As a Senior Counsellor should have around 8 years of relevant casework / counselling experience in education, counselling, social work, or related work involving family, parents and children, and have experience in conducting training and workshop
