Duties & Responsibilities

• Plans for production which includes releasing of work orders and ensuring on the delivery of shipment based on customers requirements.
• Coordinate and lead Product Delivery Commit Process among cross functional team. Scheduling and managing production timelines and production schedules to maximize efficiency and to achieve monthly OTD target.
• Coordinate with material planner to minimize production line down.
• Establishes production metrics, tracks metrics and sets realistic production goals to maximize throughput.
• Advocates for and allocates appropriate resources, tools, equipment and support to meet production requirements. Allocates resources among the different shifts to best meet production goals.
• Perform work order closure. Work with production & BOM to minimize production labor variance.
• Plan, track consumable usage
• Review the Production Training Programs and recommend changes where necessary to ensure staff are qualified to carry out their assigned responsibilities.

Knowledge & Skills

• Competency in ERP systems, preferably SAP with good knowledge of supply chain, material flow concepts and production planning reporting /metrics
• Required knowledge in work order management and understanding of Bill of Material
• Self-motivated and resourceful.
• Possess initiative and creativity.
• Familiarity with ISO13485 requirements is a plus
• Process Improvement mindset

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma & above
• At least 2 years of production planning experience in manufacturing industry Experience in low volume high mix (preferably batch process) is a plus.
• Experience in medical devices production environment is a plus
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and ISO 13485 requirements is a plus

• Collaborate with freight forwarders to secure shipping schedules and ensure accuracy in all shipping documentation.

• Strong ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively.
