Job Requirements

• PhD in n Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or allied disciplines is required. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Large Language Models, as well as the fine-tuning and customization of AI models.
• Proven record of AI research and applications, as demonstrated by publications, patents, or software developments.
• Strong technical proficiency in AI modeling, computational tools, and programming languages relevant to AI research (e.g., Python, CUDA).

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our dynamic research team focused on investigating electron transport phenomena in twisted moiré superlattices, such as twisted multilayer graphene, TMDC, and 2D superconductors. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of two-dimensional materials, with a specific emphasis on understanding and manipulating electron transport properties in these unique structures.

Job Responsibilities

Experimental Design and Implementation

• Design and fabricate devices incorporating 2D materials to explore novel electronic properties

Measurements and Data Analyses

• Utilize advanced characterization techniques, such as electron transport measurements, atomic force microscopy (AFM), Raman spectroscopy, etc, to analyze the behaviour of the heterostructures
• Interpret experimental results and provide insights into the underlying physics governing electron transport in the studied materials

Publication and Presentation

• Prepare high-quality research papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals
• Present research findings at conferences and seminars to the scientific community

Collaboration and Teamwork

• Collaborate with fellow researchers, graduate students, and principal investigators to foster a multidisciplinary research environment
• Contribute to the mentorship of graduate students and junior researchers

Qualifications

• PhD in condensed matter physics/nanoscience or any other relevant field
• Excellent understanding of the basics of condensed matter physics and good knowledge of the field of 2D materials

• Nanofabrication skills and experience with van der Waals heterostructures assembling are highly welcome

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a strong research background in computational catalysis, particularly Density Functional Theory (DFT), Molecular Dynamics (MD), Machine Learning (ML) and be able to lead their own research while collaborating with other team members.

The successful candidate will work with Asst. Prof. Pengfei Ou on Computational Catalysis under a project on "Accelerated Discovery of Catalytic Materials" to contribute to the discovery of new catalytic materials and next-generation catalysts.

Qualifications / Discipline:

- A PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.

Skills:
- Preference will be given to candidates with a strong research background in computational catalysis, computational materials science, AI/ML, DFT calculations, and (ab initio) MD simulations.
- Machine learning experience and a strong proficiency in Python programming and data analysis.

Job Description:

• Capable of optimizing molecular and cellular assays for characterization of genetically modified immune cells. These assays may include RNA extraction, real-time PCR, ELISA, western blotting, cytotoxicity assay, cell proliferation assays and cytokine measurement etc.,
• Multi-parametric immunophenotyping by flow cytometry techniques
• Good hands-on experience with PBMCs and cellular therapy products either through established protocols, or to optimize new protocols as seen necessary.
• Maintains accurate and detailed documentation of laboratory procedures and experiments.
• Oversee maintenance and operation of laboratory such as replenishing & triggering order of consumables, collection of waste materials, maintenance of laboratory equipment, etc.
