The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department of National University of Singapore (NUS) is looking for applicants for research engineer positions to support 3D-IC package fault localisation and failure analysis (FA) techniques with ANSYS High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS). The lab works on translational research i.e. spanning cellular, murine and human TB research. Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Fellow will design and execute experiments in M. tuberculosis infection of mice, processing of samples, and associated readouts including flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology including immunofluorescence. State-of-the art techniques include spatial transcriptomics and bioinformatics can be learnt and applied. Spatial transcriptomic work is also expected from human tissues. The person will lead in the day-to day running of experiments in the Biosafety Level 2 (BSL2) and BSL3 setting, and is expected to work independently, in coordination with other junior and senior team members in the laboratory and clinicians. Supervision of junior lab members such as undergraduates and postgraduate PhD students is expected. Work with live M. tuberculosis is expected in a BSL3 setting. BSL3 experience would be advantageous but not a requirement.
