Who are we looking for?

We are looking to fill a vacancy of a Research Fellow or a Senior Research Fellow. The successful candidate would have a PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a strong interest in Process Systems Engineering and Machine Learning (AI) for Chemical Engineering. Purpose of the post

To assist investigators in conducting a large-scale lifestyle intervention study according to study protocol, Singapore Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (SGGCP) and other applicable regulatory and ethical requirements as well as institutional policies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Research patient/Subjects Management

1. Gate keeping of the recruitment progress. Assist investigators in the screening and recruitment of potential patients/healthy volunteers as according to trial protocol.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and optimize MEMS piezoelectric MEMS devices including ultrasound transducers, micro speakers, and sensors and actuators for various applications, e.g. biomedical imaging, air-coupled ranging and sensing, non-destructive testing, and microfluidics. The role involves close collaboration with industry partners, process engineers, and application engineers, to push the boundaries of PiezoMEMS technology.
