Description:

Multi-omic analysis of secreted factors from various datasets was carried out, including human, mouse and primate plasma and metabolic tissues to identify novel primate-specific secreted factors critically involved in the regulation of physiology balance. Integrative data analysis and in silico rank scoring revealed a list of promising secreted factor candidates. We will be using model organisms (e.g. mice, zebrafish) to conduct phenotypic screens and prioritize candidates for detailed validation, characterization, mode-of-action studies and therapeutic strategies.

Job responsibilities:

● Conduct in vitro wet lab experiments for identified candidates (e.g. cell culture, molecular biology and assays, protein chemistry, pharmacological efficacy etc)

The candidate will work on primary cells from cohorts and cell culture systems towards understanding functional immune responses in skin immune interactions and recapitulating them in in-vitro and ex-vivo systems. NGTC (National GaN Technology Centre) in IME is looking for a talent to join its Technology Team for R&D developments. The qualified candidate has opportunities to participate in technical tasks related to RF GaN foundry for the applications up to 140 GHz. This includes the following area:

This project aims to investigate the performance of cementitious materials and 3D printed concrete against ballistic and blast loadings. The researcher will be required to cast and fabricate the various cementitious materials and 3D printed concrete, prepare the logistics and perform the relevant ballistic and blast tests. He/she will also be required to set up the numerical models in commercial FE software (e.g. LS Dyna), validated against experimental data, to understand the mechanisms in resisting the high impact loadings for the various cementitious materials.
