Requirements

• Diploma in Science or its equivalent
• At least one year experience in assisting HOD-Science in the execution of daily Science Laboratory Operational and Administrative duties.
• At least one year experience of providing support for Science programmes; STEM & Sustainability projects and Laboratory based lessons in schools.
• Experience in creating digital resources such as presentations and videos according to Science Experiential Learning
• Experiences using powerpoint.
• Proficient in preparation and maintenance of Laboratory equipment.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Good interpersonal, communication, planning and analytical skills.
• Has experience working with primary school students in school settings.
• Able to plan and work both independently and as part of a team
• Certified with standard first aid is not necessary but will be an advantage

Working hours

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1.0 hour lunch break
• Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1.0 hour lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
