5. Vendor Management and Procurement:

• Collaborate with vendors to procure HPC hardware, software, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
• Evaluate new technologies, products, and solutions to enhance the performance, efficiency, and reliability of HPC infrastructure.
• Manage NSCC IT Asset and Inventory.

6. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Analyze performance data, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve system efficiency and throughout.

7. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure the resilience and availability of HPC systems in the event of disruptions or disasters.

Job Description:

The Laboratory Officer will be responsible for the efficient operation of the vapor deposition lab, focusing on both physical vapor deposition (PVD) and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) techniques. A postdoctoral research fellow position in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for spatial omics and precision medicine is available at the Loo Lab in the Bioinformatics Institute (BII), A*STAR, Singapore. The group develops next-generation spatial omics assays, cellular phenotype analysis methods, and machine learning models to predict patient drug responses. The group also develops and manages the HistoPath Analytics (HPA) Platform and ImmunoAtlas (https://ImmunoAtlas.org) for automated management, visualization, and analysis of large multiplex tissue images and spatial multi-omics data.

The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team working on the development of new biomarkers and image analysis methods for cancer diagnosis and precision medicine. His/her main responsibility is to develop and apply novel AI and ML models and methods for analyzing large multiplex tissue images and spatial transcriptomic and metabolomic data collected from cancer patients. The candidate will also perform computational algorithm implementation and benchmarking, present research findings at international conferences, and publish in high-impact scientific journals. Qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and R programming languages.
• Strong background in AI/ML modelling, statistics, and data analysis and visualization. Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for image analysis and data modelling is required.

He/she will perform process design, engineering and scale-up of in a Low-Carbon Technology Translational Testbed (LCT3) on Jurong Island leading up to a technology transfer. This role requires good understanding and knowledge of the underlying key process/chemical engineering and scientific principles of low carbon technologies and uses computer aided engineering tools such as simulators, process and plant engineering tools for process development and engineering. This individual thinks analytically to solve problems and improve existing methods and processes.

Our client is a Singapore based Scientific and Medical devices provider with presence in Southeast Asia region. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Technical Service Engineer to join their Engineering Team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the South area – easily accessible.

Duties of Technical Service Engineer:

• Provide after-sales technical support for equipment installation and maintenance.
• Offer technical guidance and consultation to customers.
• Address and troubleshoot customer issues, ensuring timely solutions.
• Document service activities and prepare detailed reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum NiTEC in ELectrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 2 - 3 years experience in servicing Life Science Medical Devices
• Possess own transport
