The National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC) was established on

1st October 2015, to be the collaborative partner in 3D printing technology creation

and innovation through working with different industries, agencies and institutions to

develop capabilities in additive manufacturing, innovate and accelerate additive

manufacturing to increase Singapore"s global manufacturing competitiveness.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team at the

NAMIC@Additive Innovation Centre (NAMIC@AIC) A*STAR Hub as the Asistant Manager, Tech Biz or Manager, Tech Biz.
The AIC Hub aims to introduce A*STAR’s integrated additive

manufacturing technology offerings that can benefit the industry, with the objective to

increase collaboration with key industry partners. The collaborations are targeted to

translate research into applications, promote pilot production and accelerate the

adoption of additive manufacturing (AM) in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate and implement the AIC Hub"s goals, objectives and activities related to translating technology and driving AM industrial business growth.
• Formulate and execute effective business strategy and industry engagement to promote AM technology, industrial and entrepreneurial growth efforts to accelerate adoption of AM in Singapore.
• Engage companies to understand industry needs and technology requirements, and to collate and document the industry intelligence for the AIC Hub.
• Organize industry sharing events such as seminars, roundtable discussions, workshops to outreach to the industry.
• Work with AIC Hub manager, other A*STAR Research Institutes (RI)s’ Industry Development Managers (or equivalent) to drive business strategies and industry contacts / needs for R&D projects, including pilot production projects for the AIC Hub.
• Work with AIC Hub manager to link up external enquiries with A*STAR RIs’ internal expertise and capabilities.
• Work with Marcomm on marketing strategies for AIC Hub.
• Work with NAMIC Cluster Lead Party (CLP) to follow up on potential companies,
• Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) and start-ups for projects, license agreement, co-funding and standards development.
• Secure collaboration partnerships and projects to meet the AIC Hub’s outcome and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with the partners and take charge of all business aspects in the on-going AIC Hub’s projects.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Biomedical/Materials/Chemical Engineering, Science or equivalent education from a recognized university with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in the industry in business development.
• Proven track record in sales and marketing in additive manufacturing will be desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to follow up with industry inquires, negotiate business terms & pricing with customers and secure industry projects.
• Proven track record in fostering collaborations between industry, IHLs and/or
• public sector RIs.
• Ability to organise marketing and industry outreach activities to generate industry interest, grow project pipeline and secure industry projects.
• Experience in managing intellectual property and technology translation.
• Experience and knowledge in additive manufacturing trends, entire workflow for additive manufacturing industrialization and engineering product development will be prioritized.

About the role

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic researcher to join the Sustainability Informatics & Strategy (SIS) group to work on projects that will shape the long-term decarbonization strategy of Singapore. The candidate will be expected to perform analysis on energy systems models and should be able to communicate and discuss the results with a variety of stakeholders. Job Description:

The CPPS group is seeking a highly motivated scientist or senior scientist to lead in the development of AI technologies to deliver impactful and innovative digital technologies for predictive/prescriptive analytics and decision support. He/she will be expected to define growth opportunities and new ways to engage industry to advance AI for manufacturing, and look after a team of scientists and engineers to translate problems faced by industry into opportunities to develop and deploy deep tech in AI. The key roles & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develop AI models to enhance and automate decision making and enable predictive/prescriptive analytics
• Define opportunities to push frontiers of AI research in manufacturing
• Formulate research direction and proposals for competitive funding to advance AI in manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize laboratory materials, reagents, and samples for experiments.

JOB SCOPE:

Teaching and Learning

· Prepare materials, apparatus and Science labs for the conducting of Science experiments including the hydroponics system (including vertical hydroponics), vermicomposting and mushroom cultivation.

· Assist teachers in science-related activities in the lab during lessons and enrichment lessons if required.

Maintenance

· Ensure that the Science apparatus, equipment, teaching and learning resources are in serviceable conditions including reporting of damages to science level head and head of department.

This is a full-time, onsite, Teacher’s Aide role in MOE Primary School. If you are selected,

You will work closely with HOD/LH-Science and/or Admin Manager in an MOE Primary School (nearest MRT- Clementi) in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:

• To provide teaching and learning support to teachers such as preparation of resources / materials for Science laboratory activities, enrichment programmes and competitions, etc;
• To assist to source and purchase materials for laboratory activities, practical tests and enrichment programme and to aid science teachers with the clearing up after laboratory lessons and when required;
• To assist to prepare forms and expenditures claims and keep copies of invoices and receipts;
• To label and keep records of existing and new Science teaching and learning materials and laboratory apparatus such as teachers’ desk copies, reference books, DVDs, lab apparatus and chemicals, etc;
• To maintain loan records of Science Resources;
• To pack and organize the resources in the Science Rooms. Ensure that the Science rooms are clean and conducive for lessons;
• To ensure laboratory equipment, materials and specimens are in good working conditions. Conduct stock-take at least twice a year. Assist to update the stock record and breakage record to initiate ordering of replacements, when necessary;
• To ensure proper disposal of waste materials such as sharp waste objects and chemicals;
• To ensure safety of students in the Science rooms. Record and report any incidents to Science HOD / LH. Maintain a laboratory incident log book;
• To check that safety devices in the laboratory, such as emergency eye-washers, showers and fire extinguishers are working;
• To perform any duties assigned by the Science HOD / Level Representative.

Job Requirements:

• ‘N’ Level;
• Should be able to speak and write in English;
• Should have good interpersonal skills, pleasant disposition and be meticulous and a team player;
• Should be able to multi-task and meet deadlines;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications. Must be able to learn new IT skills;
• Preferably with similar experience working in primary school environment.

Summary:

Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025.

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 3.30pm, inclusive of one (1) hour lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 2+ years of experience in quantitative research or similar background in FPGA programming

• Experience in scientific technical writing, or research proposals

• Working knowledge of common research evaluation frameworks and techniques

• Strong tracking record in research publications or software development or FPGA programming

• Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Preference is given to candidates with a strong publication record

• Experience in Post Quantum Cryptography and/or or differential privacy, and/or FPGA programming

• Excellent knowledge of Python programming, and/or Rust, C++ is advantage

• Blockchain, and Cryptography research background are advantage

• Experience in Decentralized systems and AI, differential privacy, or data market is also an advantage
