Most levitated systems are limited to small masses (nano/microgram). They also involve incoherent optical interactions which scatter rather than reflect light. Thus, these cannot take advantage of the well-developed optical toolbox of interferometry, optical feedback, and quantum squeezed light.

Our group is pioneering a new class of levitated system enabling coherent optical interaction, and milligram masses. This position is based in the Quantum Innovation Centre (Q.Inc) and Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE). The successful candidate will contribute to a range of innovative activities, including:

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzing signals acquired from SQUIDs (Superconducting Quantum Interference Devices)
• Investigating the coupling between the particle’s motion and the spin degrees of freedom of individual nitrogen-vacancy centers to explore mechanically mediated quantum networks
• Develop feedback control system to precisely manipulate the particle’s motions

Requirements:

• Bachelor or master’s in physics, Applied Physics, Precise Instrumentation, or related fields
• Strong motivation for multidisciplinary research
• Prior experience in superconductivity and/or quantum sensing is highly preferred

Duties of Regulatory Compliance Specialist:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for medical devices and biotechnology products, preparing and submitting necessary documentation.
• Assist in product registration, renewal, and change submissions, liaising with regulatory agencies and suppliers.
• Develop regulatory strategies and provide guidance during product development for timely market access.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records for submissions and approvals.
• Support Quality Assurance to ensure regulatory compliance and participate in audits when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate regulatory requirements into product launches and provide regulatory training.
• Identify regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies for product marketing and commercialization.
• Monitor post-market safety data, reporting adverse events as required by authorities.
